Nakita ko na sya ng personal nung elementary pa lang ako, early nineties noon, guest sya sa Fiesta noon. Sikat na din naman sya pero hindi pa nasa pinacle ng career nya. Maliit na stage, more or less a hundred audience lang pero di ko malimutan na tumingin sya sa isang bata, at sumagot ng "i love you too iho!" Ako po yung batang yon!

Maraming singers na magaling bumirit at kumanta pero no one can top her talaga! Tamang-tama lang yung dynamics at control niya sa boses. Walang nota na masakit sa tenga, lahat ang smooth ng flow. The emotions are there kahit na napaka-effortless lang ng pagkanta niya. What a gem.

rommel santos i disgree to this. Im also a fan of Regine but comparing the number of audience of other artists, parang mejo unfair din. Her wish bus performance was announced to social media, time and place. So everyone near that area will flock to see her performance. Unlike others, gulat ka na lang may bagong video na Yung wish then makikita mo sa background, umaandar ung BUS, nasa gilid ng highway, etc and di ka talaga magkaka-audience nun. Tsaka nakilala na yung WishFM e. So I guess, give thanks to those artists na nagpasikat sa Wish, the likes of Darren Espanto and Morissette Amon, who became internationally known by youtube reactors. :) Well, they are all great artists and they deserve this.

I'm so grateful that somehow I found this unparalleled artist. I'm from the US and her voice soothes my soul. She's on repeat in my car daily! I found her shortly after new years. I am saddened that I missed out on over two decades of her vocal slayage! She has such a presence. Watching and listening to her is a total experience! Love from the US Dear Regine!

My father had a good experience with Regine, My father used to work as a band member in a Hotel in the Philippines and luckily Regine and her family dine in on that hotel. Regine accepted to have duet with my father and gave the band a big tip. I admire her being low profile attitude eventhough she is high profile personality.

Nice story!!! Alam mo sobrang galante talaga ni Regine. Very well known sa buong industriya ang generosity niya. Hindi yan tumatanggap ng bayad pag nage-guest siya sa concerts. Talagang nangsosoli sabi nga ni Kuh Ledesma at Celeste Legaspi. And once, pinamigay niya yung buong talent fee niya sa staff at crew ng movie niya with Piolo tapos nagpamigay pa ng truckloads of groceries. She is known to giveaway Macbooks and Louis Vuittons sa staffs and crew ng mga shows niya. Tapos ang dami niyang charity works na hindi niya pinapaalam. Kaya masarap katrabaho at super blessed si Reg dahil ang bait niya talaga.

Way back 1990s, one Sat morning I saw her standing ALONE along Roxas Blvd. She's relatively new but gaining much popularity already at that time. And I couldn't believe that's Regine, as she's very low profile - no staff around, just standing there all by herself. And I think she could tell that I was confused. Then, she gave me that sweet, genuine smile when I walked way - answering my question in mind. She's a lovely person, happy to see that Regine remains the same grounded person.

Never had the slightest intention to subscribe to Wish channel. And not even once did I care to leave a comment about other singers who came onboard Wish. Only this magnanimous lady. Shes the ONLY exception for me. So I just did both. Subscribed. And comment: the most humble and Regine has remained the greatest of them all. She embraces pain (her medical condition now), goes head on with a personality that bubbles, never fakes it, and produces the melody so long as it brings happiness to the people who listen to her music. She may not be the best to all but shes undeniably the BRAVEST of them all. The true-to-life BRAVEHEART and FEARLESS. Regine, you have INSPIRED countless lives and in effect have changed lives for the better, more than you have entertained us. Yours has been the best way to live the purpose of a bittersweet life of a singer. And yes, shut up naysayers. Keep those bad comments in your hideous minds. I hope evolution does something good to you.
