Before SB19, si Ms. Regine ang nagpapa iyak sakin, and this particular song is one of the reasons bakit ako naiiyak. Sobrang iconic ng song na to not only because of how difficult this song is but also how Ms. Reg made sure audience/listeners would feel how the song should be felt. Last night, I got so emotional sa sobrang tuwa kasi our own Stell sang this wonderful song. I'm so proud of him.

Our Songbird has reginified this Basil Valdez original. Still my favorite version ever. Kaya lahat ng kakanta nito kabado talaga . And Kudos to Stell for an awesome job performing this. Spectacular performance from Regine! I searched for this because Stell of SB19 just performed this same song on Mr. Ryan Cayabyab's concert. I mean wow. This is not an easy song, not because of the high pitch but the tempo itself is so freaking prone to to mistakes and only the best singers can pull it off.

Oh. My. Gosh! I have a lot to say about this video. Really. This is GOLD. Arguably her BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE ever, in my book. This performance is just pure perfection. I don’t know how she did it, but she did it excellently, (well, as always). This may not be her highest version of this song but this is so refined. It felt like everything she did in this performance is so calculated. From her looks, to her emotions, to how she enunciated every word and every phase of this song. By just looking at her face, especially her eyes and eyebrows, you will feel the emotion as she tells the story of the song. 4:50 - listen how she whispered those words, “sometime, somewhere” with so much emotion in her eyes 5:14 - “though deep inside it hurts..” listen how she emphasized on the word “hurt” (you know it really hurts 😔) 5:19 - “because we know..” this is my favorite part. Her crescendo and vibrato is to die for. Something that no one has ever copied. Ever! Regine owned this song. No one has ever came close to how perfect she has done this. Up to this day, this is untouchable. They can do their own highest version but they can never outdo what Regine has perfectly done here. Thank you for uploading this gem, @yetkl2. I am a huge fan of Regine's for about a year now. It's 2023 now, and I first heard her sing this song on Regine 3.0 and it moved me to tears. I am for the first time seeing this video of her doing it live in 2004. When she sings I am captivated by her. And in this version she actually sings the high note at the end. (The R3.0 version is incredible even without that note.). This live version is perfection from start to finish. When she sings that last note, I nearly lost my mind. She is truly a living legend. With a voice I have completely fallen in love with. Thanks for the great quality upload. Just loved it!

Ogie and Michelle separated 2007 and this rendition of Sometime Somewhere was staged 2004 to honor Ryan Cayabyab's 50th birthday. Now I can understand why this rendition is full of emotions and really really fucked up in a good way that will really make you feel each word that she is singing. It's so hauntingly sad. "We have the right love at the wrong time" ang peg. May pinaghuhugutan si Queen Reg. This song really fits her. She owns this.
