Over the course of his incredible career, Regis Philbin interviewed pretty much everyone there is to interview. Here's a fun one from 2000 where he (along with his wife Joy) sits down with Chris Tarrant, the host of the UK version of the show where the two discuss hosting the show, big winners, and the show's success

The idea of Regis and Chris in the same room, talking about Millionaire, is just awesome, glad to see it happened at least once. I just wish it was longer. RIP Regis.

For years, I used to think we were the first to have WWTBAM, but no, it was Chris Tarrant in 1998. But we were the first to ever bring a Millionaire on the path- it was John “phone my dad” Carpenter. Even so, I hope Tarrant is doing well, but for the Reegmaster, I’m gonna miss that guy and I’ll never play or watch WWTBAM without thinking of him. It may hurt, but he was a legendary part of it. God bless Regis and Chris.

We are delighted to announce that Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? is marking it's 25th anniversary in 2023, the programme first started on 4th September 1998. The silver jubilee of the global TV phenomenon. Chris Tarrant is the main man of the show.

Wow. Watching 'Quiz' in America has made me think if these two have actually met each other. Two amazing role models for television in two great countries🇬🇧🇺🇸 RIP Regis ❤

That was an amazing interview, Wouldn’t been hilarious if one week Regis went over to The UK and hosted their show and Chris went to America and hosted a week here, That would’ve been something; But Yeah like I said great interview and Rest In Peace Regis.

That was a treat. After watching plenty of both the UK and American versions, I can't honestly decide which host I prefer. I like both of them equally as much!
