In a recent interview with Mill City Boxing. Regis Prograis feels he fought Devin Haney at an unfair advantage when Haney fought Regis 25 pounds over the weight limit.
According to a caller on the Mill City show. California has a State Law that prohibits fighters from weighing too much over the legal weight limit before a fight. Fans have been saying that Haney has been a weight bully for years.

Fighters like Tank Davis and Canelo sometimes use rehydration clauses on their opponents... to make sure the fighters don't come in too big on fight night.
Devin Haney and his fans cried foul when Ryan Garcia missed the 140 pound weight limit by 3 pounds.
But, they had nothing to say when Devin rehydrated 25 pounds over the weight limit in the Prograis fight.
Haney was almost a Super Middleweight on fight night. Weight bullying has been going on in boxing for years. Some say it's a form of cheating. A tool that is used for bigger fighters to have an advantage over their opponents on fight night.
Other say this tactic put fighters lives at risk. Regis Prograis wants his WBC light welterweight belt back from Devin Haney due to him rehydrating 18% to 165 lbs after weighing in at the 140-lb limit for their fight on December 9th last year in San Francisco, California.
Prograis said he was unaware of weight discrepancy during fight. The 25 lbs that Haney rehydrated for the fight gave him a weight advantage over Prograis.
Prograis said he just wants to let it go. Because he feels boxing is such a corrupt sport... that no one will do anything about it?

If you pop before fight and it's known, the fight shouldn't take place. IF the fight is allowed to take place anyway then you can't expose it after the fight cause they allowed it to happen anyway 🤷🏽‍♂️ assuming they already know of course and I believe sometimes they do but a cancelled fight is lost $. On the weight issue, it should be IBF rules across the board 10 lb or less rehydration limit
