I honestly felt Devin was equal if size to Ryan in their fight weight wise. Devin also is more muscular but it just doesn’t translate to punching power because of the speed and snap of the punches. Devin’s shots doesn’t have the speed that causes that pop on his punches that Ryan’s punches have. When you build so much muscle it seems to cause a problem with the speed . You look at Ryan’s build he’s a slighter build long type of build with toned muscles instead of bulk . That’s why Ryan’s punches can really create that snap gives him the pop that can really stun and KO the opponent. You have to land clean as well so that’s very dependent on accuracy. Ryan’s fight with tank the trainers were giving him horrible advice . Ryan does have a chance against tank if he fights the fight correctly and fights at 140 . Any lower it’s too much for Ryan to drop .

Difference is devin made weight you can rehydrate up to whatever you want as long as you cut the weight Ryan did not do that if he did he would not have been that strong fast or energetic it’s the last 3 pounds that truly takes a toll on you Ryan was always going to be heavier in the ring than Devin because he’s bigger but this not even they both should have been drained or made this fight a catch weight

I saw the Devin vs Prograis in SF and Regis did not fight like his usual self. Devin completely ran through him. I think Regis sold him the belt.

Evening of the fight Devin was heavier than Ryan. Devin got exposed, he’s basically a C fighter that can’t take a punch & holds on to dear life.

He has 15 knockouts and is a pure boxer not a brawler. However Devin still managed to rock Ryan later in the match. Ryan recovered almost immediately however. Those 3lbs helped him for sure. Not a notable win in my opinion. Devin is not quite a weight bully either as he still cuts the weight unlike Ryan. Did he use IV against Regis? Idk

@@hvdd96 A) His last knockout was 5 YEARS ago... and I don't think anyone objectively agrees that Devin "rock[ed] Ryan..." (What round were you referring to?) B) 3lbs when they both rehydrated in the 155-160 range doesn't matter, especially as you said to win. C) Devin is a weight bully because although he comes to weigh-ins at weight, he's rehydrated 20-25 lbs on fight night; thus, he and his opponents are never the same size. More likely than not, if everyone says the same thing, it's plausible to be a known consensus.
