Rexxar’s gift not having Animal Companion is an absolute tragedy

The Gifts remind me of the Tellstones from Legends of Runeterra, which means at least some of them will be quite good. The flexibility is very valuable.

The "Gift" cycle is just like the Runeterra "Tellstone" cycle, which most cards saw extensive play. They were all mostly balanced, tested your skill(always funny when someone cast it only to realize they were 1 mana short and wasted it), and put less played situational cards back into the spotlight. Swapping out offered cards made balance changes quick and elegant as well. A 1 mana tax for flexibility is usually worth it. I bet gift cards will see a lot more play than most people think and will be good for the game.

One note for Malfurion's Gift that I didn't see mentioned in the comments already: the Wild Growth you get from is the OG version that costs 2, not the current 3-cost version. So, it's better than it's being given credit for here.

Spectral Cutlass exists once again so Deadly Poison can stay, but replace the other two with Shadowstep and Sprint then come back to me lol. Edit: I believe it was confirmed that Wild Growth in the gift-spell will be 2-Mana, meaning you're playing 2-cards at once but ultimately achieve the same result as what we currently have.

Hi Regis, just so you know the wild growth you get is the original 2 cost version, basically making this a better wild growth after rotation now.

I like that the Gifts are preset so that if they get stolen it'll still be for the class it was stolen/discovered from apposed to one's own. Such as Hunter discovering this or brawl through the 2 mana 1/3 "discover a spell from your opponent's class" if it'll still be in rotation.

The thing about gifts is the guarantee that makes them so good rather than say discover a class card

I love the flavor of this card. Warcraft 3 theme basically. That's what I always wanted from hearthstone, I used to think about how WC3 units would translate. 10 years later I finally get it! However, I hate the gifts cards with a passion. I'm not sure why. I think it pretty mcuh devalue the idea of theorycrafting if you can have a bunch of cards bundled into one. Now aggro decks have bloodlust but also hex and also a 3 damage one cost ? I hate it.

Hopefully Harth only does Transform the hand. 1st card far left, the most iconic combo enabler, and then each additional card in hand is support. Like Patron far left, then whirlwind, then a death's bite, etc. Transforming per card in hand.

From now warriors can have 4 brawls, and warlock has 4 twisting nethers...
