I downloaded the mod about 3 weeks ago, installed it in both ETS2 and ATS and it worked really well in VR. Had a break, and today when I run both truck simulators in VR there are large rectangular tranlucent panels in the VR headset when ever the truck passes under a streetlight. Seems to be associated with the skylight in the cabin. The problem went away when I uninstalled the mod files. Is this a known problem with the mod version from a few weeks ago please? If so, will it go away if I subscribe and download again?

You need to download v9.2.0 version, login your patreon account from my website and download v9.2.0, its going to work fine, currently its free

It seems to me that there is a little more flickering in v10? There is now no smoothing in the mirrors, the rear part of the trailer sometimes flickers, the radiator grilles of trucks, there is still something to work on.

@@SnowyMoon_io I use "Temporal Anti Aliasing" lvl 1, FXAA enabled, sharp 3 or disabled. I chose "Temporal Anti Aliasing Clarity" FXAA enabled, lvl 2, but it seemed to me that the result only got worse. The wires between road pillars without smoothing, road markings sometimes flicker especially at autobahn junctions, take a ride from Lille to Calais. Default TAA and SMAA disabled. My GPU 1080Ti - 1080p + 400% full ultra. Version 8.4.x was perfect. :(

Any way to fight ghosting? I did a lot of play with settings still considerable ghosting especially around mercedes digital speedometer to the unbearable extent. Did use the last version, have around 80 fps.

TAA Clarity might help, ghosting happens if there is an object TAA cannot calculate movement :/ Because of shader decompiling or if object is using dynamic vertices

@@intheblim yes, FXAA is just an extra option to solve leftover aliasing issues. So you need to use TAA. Then you can also use FXAA or not. FXAA is not going to work when TAA disabled.

Thank you = TAA Rev.2 > TAA For v9, TAA Clarity/+ > TAA (v8 Rev.2) Set sharpness something you like, edge sharpen is pretty good to use with TAA Clarity/+ to improve quality. Also use T.Shadow to reduce shadow flickering

Currently it doesn't work on 1.50 update because they changed a lot of things. So I need a few days to make it compatible. Its fixing aliasing and flickering issues. But also SCS added TAA with 1.50, currently only available for ATS but you can test it if you want. If you want to try my version of TAA you can subscribe for 1$ and try, if you don't want to continue to use you can send me message from Patreon and I can refund it.

1.47, 1.48, 1.49 supported for ETS2 and 1.48, 1.49 supported for ATS. If you change to one of these versions from steam beta setting, it should work

You don't need license file. Just login account and download v9 or v8. Do not use "Reset Password" option. You have to redownload files if you use "Reset Password".

If SCS adds TAA in the future or if you quit the game or if I quit making mods you are going to lose money. How is lifetime (lets say 15$) license any better than monthly 1$ for users? Literally lifetime license is better for me, not users.

@@robsonsantana1493sorry, currently there isn't any lifetime license. Because SCS might add TAA in the future, lifetime is going to be scam if they add TAA. And 1$/month is pretty much free, probably its worth for most of the people . SCS is so slow, they are 10 years late, they just make more DLCs and there are only small amount of improvements in the game.

You need to press "HOME" for v8 and "END" for v9, also you should start game with DirectX 11 option. And be sure you put dxgi.dll into "\bin\win_x64\" folder.

Hello, Snowy Moon! If you need money or at least some kind of help, why didn’t you make a download link through paid sources? For example, a person follows a link and watches an advertisement or visits a site through which you are paid money for people clicking on this site and then receiving a link to the original file. This would be a free download, but at the same time you would also receive money from each user who follows the link. Yes, it won’t be one dollar, but somewhere around 0.20 - 0.50 cents, but imagine how many downloads you would have each time... Anyone who would use your mod for third-party sites or provide non-original links, you could block them for violation. And I don’t think that this would have much impact on your original link. I’m from Ukraine, my country now has the worst economy, 1 dollar is not a lot of money, but for my country 50UAN every month is quite significant for such a mod. I hope your mod will become publicly available again someday :( Thanks!

Its changed, you don't need license file anymore. Login your account then download v8 or v9, thats it. License data is included inside your .dll file

Did you put into correct folder? Be sure you put into "bin/win_x64/" and start game with DirectX 11, if its still same and if you are using antivirus add dxgi.dll to whitelist

If you are using an app like internet download manager etc, disable it. Or try with another web browser which doesn't have, its going to work

Thank you very much for developing such a great plugin. After registering and downloading using this method, I encountered a problem. The game does not start every time; sometimes, it goes to a black screen and waits for a long time, then the plugin indicates a network connection error, and then TAA cannot be used.

If you can't click "Allow" on patreon login page, its because of page translator. Disable language translator you are using or do it from another web browser without translator, its going to work

It appears you're being hammered on Reddit. Am I correct that you are only charging one Dollar per month for the ETS2/ATS TAA mod ? If so I don't understand their problem.

Its 1$/month, correct. They just want to have some slaves to make free mods for them. Its sad. Its fine to not buy it and hate paid mods. But the way they comment is pretty disgusting.

@SnowyMoon_io Yes, I agree. If people had gifted you a few bucks it may have been different. We do tend to expect free stuff ... me included if I'm honest. I think 12 bucks a year is more than fair for a brilliant mod that doubles my FPS in ETS2/ATS. And it looks better than any other solution. Daft thing is, we pay £ 1000s for PC hardware and steering wheel setups ... And I'm guessing you won't see all of that anyway, once Patreon take their cut ! Anyhow, good luck ! And please keep making it. I'm sure that people like myself will 'subscribe' and make it worthwhile.

@SnowyMoon_io So when you join Patreon and the game boots up... the DLL loads... will I have to put in a password at that point, which is saved on my PC ... because my IP is dyamic, so changes everytime I connect to the internet.

@@TrueBlade-1889 IP is not used by license system. You just need to login via patreon from website and download v8 or v9, all the license info already stored inside your dxgi.dll, so do not give your dxgi.dll to anyone else. You don't need to do anything else

I just want to ask single question. Is giving a chance to the community bad thing? The only reason I released for free because if there was enough donations I was going to keep it free. Because I don't know the community, I don't know how many users are going to donate. Is it bad to try this?
