This review will compare peripheral arterial disease vs peripheral venous disease. This is a nursing review for nursing students and nurses.
Peripheral arterial and venous diseases are two types of peripheral vascular disease (PVD). PAD occurs when there is disease of the peripheral arteries, and it mainly affects the lower extremities. Therefore, there is an issue with blood flow going to the extremities and ischemia occurs.
Peripheral venous disease occurs when there is disease of the peripheral veins, and it mainly affects the lower extremities. Therefore, there is an issue with blood flow leaving the extremities and going back to the heart.
This review will discuss the differences between the signs and symptoms of arterial and venous disease.

So happy you're making videos again!! This is your divine gift, you are such a good teacher, and these videos are so thorough and well made. 5 months out from getting my license I'm still using your channel to review concepts and teach myself certain treatments/tasks. Please don't stop! 💛

You posted this video a couple days before my exam. My lecture about this topic wasn't amazing, and I was worry because I didn't get too many points. I literally watch all your videos and they help me a tons. But with this specific exam, I was very frustrated, and the results couldn't be any better! I scored 90 on it! Thanks forever!!!

You are literally the best person I've ever met in my entire life and I'll forever be grateful for you. You have that way of breaking out everything to explain it in the simplest ways possible, especially for some of us whom English is not our first language. Can you do a prioritization video please if that's possible, I'm really struggling with that

Hey Sarah, I found your Videos by chance and was impressed immediately because you teach very complex issues in a way very easy to remember. So it helps me to recap what I’ve read before for my medical exams. Thank you so much 😊
