L that he returned to his ex-wife over the woman that stood by his side during all the criticism & shame. I love his dedication to the cause, all spurred on by wanting his wife not to wear dirty linen but she did not deserve to walk back into his life & partake in his success when she was not there for all the hardships.

A lot of people who are criticizing his wife, his wife didn't actually leave him by choice, her family forces her to separate from him, in the movie they show her trying to contact him several times without her family's permission Idk why they didn't include this part in the recap

She left him by choice. When Lakshmi held her and asked her to say if she wants to leave, she said yes AND THEN WILLINGLY WALKED INSIDE THE CAR AND LEFT. And then made no attempts to contact him until he won the award for his machine in the innovation contest.

I am so confused on the uproar and anger towards this man just because he wanted to create pads for his wife and other women, so they would not have to worry about wearing dirty linen that could cause them infection, death, and fertility issues. and also it pissed me off the way he just left Perry. Who was there for him from day one helped him get to where he is, and then he just leaves her for his ungrateful ass wife who just wants him back because she see the success that he is getting she shouldn’t be able to partake in a success that she had nothing to do with she up and left him in his time of need and she couldn’t even defend him or stick beside him. She wouldn’t have gotten no sympathy from me..🙄🙄🙅🏽♀️

Taboos on Sanitary pads are mild when compared with what taboos are there on contraceptions (nirodh) in India. Even a 5 Rupees Nirodh is treated with either disgust or ulterior motives.

Please make a Movie review on Rocketry . It's a TRUE story on the biography of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayan whose efforts to bring Cryogenic engine tech to India was halted by him being falsely and deliberately accused as a foreign spy in a game of politics and conspiracy , which delayed ISRO's progress on the development of Cryogenic engine. But we did it in 2014 , although we could have done it lot sooner.

His wife didn’t leave him because she didn’t love him. She did her best to understand him with the knowledge she had. But her lack of knowledge and awareness about the subject plus the society’s response made it seem like he really was doing something shady. What she needed was education which she had by the end of the movie. Hence understanding why her husband was doing it

It's PARI. Don't be so offensive like the narrator. It's extremely offensive to call the name that means, FAIRY, as "Perry". Choice? Are you for real? He did all this in the love of one woman - HIS WIFE. He loved his wife. Wife loved him. No one asked Pari to love him. Why should he choose her?

Just like 20 to 30 years ago, talking about LGBTQ made some people uncomfortable in some western countries, in India in year of 2005 or 06, people hesitated for talking about sanitary napkins and considered talking about it sexual (but only in villages and some small cities).

As an Indian, from India, firstly it's not Perry. It's Pari (fairy). He loved his WIFE. Anything related to menstruation is a taboo to talk infront of men now. Before this film, pad packets were STILL specially wrapped in black polythene just like alcohol is sold as if it's equally SHAME SHAME like alcohol. It was hush hush. Shame shame. If no black polythene, you got wrapped in newspaper. Always hidden Dare say pads loudly in one of the most expensive city in of the world, Mumbai, India, and the men in the shop WILL stare at you. This film for the first time made women hold actual pads in their hands opened. That was so shocking that elders scolded us to put the videos promoting this film in private. They said can't you promote with just words? Stop showing the private pad to the whole world. It's disgusting. Shame shame.

I am not so satisfied with the recap so i kept reviewing the recap and then i read all the following the comments just to read more about Pari and his ex wife😂😂 i think Pari was just seen as a friend, and because he was a married man who left the village not because of betrayal or criticism but his dedication of making the pad, now i understand, he still love his wife. Thanks to Pari who fulfilled all his dreams.....

Even after having made the Machine he first called her, but she got sad that instead of asking her welness he is speaking of machine so didn't talk to him They loved each other to core just She being a village person wasn't strong enough to go against the society
