Kinda correct, he lost his voice and got a migraine. It was the voice actor for Goku that passed out while screaming, and that honestly makes sense; guy goes hard with his voice acting.

I just love how well Quintel wrote Benson. The show portrays him as a douche, but as you watch on you start to understand that he actually has a good heart and that mord+rigs can actually be a pain. But in the end, he still cared.

For one, counting to ten or even counting to one hundred when you're so irate you feel like hulking out. Especially when you're told to stop yelling at someone who give you so many reasons to yell at them and you end up bottling up your anger to avoid getting canned. Counting to ten or one hundred will never work. That anger management technique will never work. It didn't work hundreds of years ago, it didn't work when our grandparents were young, it didn't work when we were kids and I know it won't work now. So yeah, as much as I like this cartoon and a lot of the characters. You automatically want to hug Benson right now.

Benson may be a jerk to Mordecai & Rigby at times, but he has a point. All he wants is Mordecai & Rigby to do their work, and be responsible as they are his employees. If Mordecai & Rigby didn’t slack off, and if it wasn’t for any disasters they caused to park (everyone’s lives even) Benson wouldn’t have contempt for them.
