My boyfriend had me watch this show with him, he said it was special to him and wanted to see how it ended. We finished it maybe two weeks ago and both of us ended up crying lol, but truly this show was something so special. Once it was over I just felt my gut sink and felt how incredible it was. We're 20 year old's working full time and going to college and yeah this show really incapacitated everything I've felt these past 3 years. The boring days working in retail and going to school sucks but this show related in way that wasn't depressing. Every night we sat down together ate dinner and watched this show, truly it was a perfectly realistic.

Benson's Speech to Mordecai where he says, "Maby nothing will change. But, at least you will have closure." Benson, was more then a Boss. He was a Dad. A Bro. A True Man. Sometimes, guys need that.

I was in 12 when this show premiered, I watched until around season 5/6 and never really picked it up again until a few weeks ago. The ending hit me hard. Not too long ago I was like Mordecai and Rigby. Worked a dead end job and lived to slack off and have fun any chance I could get. I’m now 25, graduated college recently, and am getting married in two weeks. Eventually, everything changed. Mordecai and Rigby eventually grew up, just as I did.

I think the best thing about it is the message is actually "move on, but don't change who you are inside" I think that's the most telling thing about the ending montage is that everyone's lives and surroundings change but they themselves don't. Mordecai moves on and continues his creative pursuits in Art College and finds love that way. But to be truly creative is to be childish and still have that sense of wonder and carefree nature about things. So it's a natural progression for him but he's also still the same man at the beginning of the show deep down. Rigby literally just becomes a stay at home Dad while Eileen is the cook and breadwinner. Which is just... *so* perfect. And shows that no matter what, Rigby is gonna be Rigby. Same with Muscle Man, literally the only thing that changed about his life and surroundings is that he's got a huge family now. He still lives in his trailer seemingly still at the park, he's still wild and crazy and he still runs around with his shirt off. He's still Muscle Man, because he IS Muscle Man. Which is actually the entire point of the episode where he proposed to Starla. Benson is still the same old Benson at the park. Skips gets a (side-)job as a mechanic which fits him like a glove but he still remembers and thinks about his life all the time and never forgets or changes who he is(granted he's kind of an odd case since he's actually lived tons of lives and is literally immortal but still.) Fives moves on with his girl and becomes a DJ. And the ending scene with Mordecai and Rigby shows that even if they've grown and gotten older and have families now. They haven't actually *changed*. they're still deep down the same fun loving """kids""" that they were from the beginning. Which is honestly incredibly remarkable as most things teach us that to grow up is to abandon any senses of "fun" or "play and carefree attitude" and such. And I think that's the best part is that they all grew as people but showed that they didn't need to lose any of who they are or repress any of their nature. And reminder Pops gave them the chance for all this to happen in the first place BECAUSE HE REFUSED TO CHANGE WHO HE WAS AND DIDN'T DO THINGS THE NORMAL WAY!😔✊ "Mordo: Man can't believe it's been twenty years, feels like nothings changed. I still wish Pops were here to see this. Riggs: If it wasn't for Pops we wouldn't *have* any of this. Mordo: yeah true... Hey.. Do you still think those old video games are in the shed? Riggs: yeah we should try em out, for Old Carts Sake." The more things change the more they stay the same. Hmnhmnhmnhmn WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Hehe I can't believe we used to do that.

one of my favorite things about the episode with rigby's prom was how even under all the insults his dad threw at him about being a thief, he never told him that his mom gave him the keys. As a 23 year old girl (woman, who still very much feels like a kid) I STILL remember when Regular Show was being promoted on CN, in between episodes of Adventure Time, Chowder and Flapjack (some of my favorites) and I remember telling my cousin that it was going to be stupid and I wouldn't watch. Then the day it premiered, I fell in love. It was completely nonsensical and hilarious. It was one of the few times I had to eat my words and I was more than willing especially as the show continued. I love cartoons, always have. I love the comfort they bring and the nostalgia. I love how nothing is ever really set in stone. I loved that about Regular Show, very few episodes had any lasting consequences, and then as the series progressed, characters would make a comeback or we would see Mordecai and Margaret's (and eventually CJ's) relationship blossom and die. And in between was the most outrageous, "who-thought-of-this-shit?" shit you would ever see and it was always SUCH a good time. All this to say, Regular Show will ALWAYS be one of my favorite shows, and definitely in the Top 5 of my favorite cartoons (Gravity Falls is right up there with it) so I'm excited to watch your commentary on it and hope to take a trip down memory lane through The Park (and not cry remembering my childhood)

This is a perfect summary of EXACTLY how I feel about this show. I’m 24 myself so I grew up with the same shows. Ironically, I never actually watched this entire series until recently. And DAMN does it hold up well. It’s feels a little weird to put an animated show that premiered on Cartoon Network in my top 5 shows of all time along shows like Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad, but the massive relatability this show gives me every-time I watch it is just something you don’t get from any other animated show. With that being said, I need to check out more of Gravity Falls. I watched an episode and I really liked it, and I see that everyone who enjoyed Regular show recommends it.

Fuck man this video really got to me. As a kid, Regular Show was my absolute favorite show growing up. I used to DVR every episode when it aired and would watch them again, again, and again and never get tired of them. I fell off around the middle of Season 5 when I was about 12/13 due to depression and other things, but I did manage to catch the last two seasons when I was in high school and I really enjoyed them. I'm now almost 22 and a struggling disillusioned college student struggling to come to terms with the fact young adult life wasn't anything like what I expected or wanted, and I may just have to revisit this show because I didn't fully realize how much Regular Show embodies just that. Jolly good video.

Fantastic video man, I found nostalgia in watching this from the randomly picked episodes on Cartoon Network, and seeing an in-depth explanation like this describing what was going on when 6 years ago couldn't understand, it makes me feel emotions I don't understand. It takes a lot to make me cry, but the final sequence almost made me tear up. Fantastic show, phenomenal editing, and amazing video.

I connect with Mordecai on such an unexplainable level. I'm in such a similar situation, with my own "Margaret". A person constantly haunting my thoughts like a ghost. It's honestly hard to accept reality sometimes. In my fallible, irrational, human heart, I still desire her. She's not attainable in the way I want, but sometimes what you want isn't what's right. We figured out earlier in our lives that we just don't fit in that way. As hard as that is to accept, sometimes it's what's necessary. I crave her every moment of my day, but even if she were to come to me, offering all I desire, I would like to think I'd still say no. I can't do that to her again. This show hits you in a deep part of yourself. A part you don't want to acknowledge. But it's there. It will always be there. Sometimes, you just need to seek the closure and move on.

Dude, fantastic job. Somehow, a retrospective video about Regular Show made me open my eyes and realize that I need to start living my life. I just graduated college, and I have been able to put off getting a job because I was lucky enough to get into stocks in high school. I live with my best friend ( who, no shit, is exactly like Rigby ), and luckily I have had enough money to cover my part of the rent and bills and just coast the past couple of years while I was in college. What you said about Mordecai being afraid of change resonated with me so fucking hard. I had paid internships and stuff during college, but I have never had an actual job in my entire life. After listening to you explain how his, and everyone else's arc in the show was about moving forward, it hit me like a truck. In my head, I always thought once I got a job, it was over. I considered it the final nail in the coffin that would make me an adult. But the truth is I have been an adult for the past 3 years now. I have paid my own bills, bought my own food, bought my own car, taken care of myself, made doctor's appointments, helped my friends out whenever I could, etc ... and I am just doing everything I can to try and live in the past. And sadly, just like fucking Mordecai, I obsessed over one girl in high school, and I never got over it. I told her how I felt and that she didn't feel the same way. So although I had that closure of knowing she didn't like me like Mordecai I never REALLY got over it. I let the IDEA of her ruin my relationships while I was in college and set myself up for failure without realizing it. I have always had an issue with letting go, and I was semi-aware of it, but this video really made me sit down and think about it. Im gonna do my best to work through my shit and start being happy with my life. Considering all of the comments I doubt that you will ever see this, but on the off chance that you do, I mean this from the absolute bottom of my heart; thank you so much.

As a kid I never really liked when this show started developing. I stopped keeping up around mid season 6 I believe though I did catch the finale the night it aired and it definitely had me in tears. But as an adult now everything about this show and the way it evolved means a lot to me and I can really relate to a lot of it. Particularly Rigby, I see a lot of myself in him and while I don't think I've even gotten near where his development ended I really hope to see myself there one day. His story is incredibly inspirational. Regular Show means so much to me and this video is a real masterpiece, the big speech about the relatability of it at the end hits stupidly hard and I cant wait to see your future stuff. Mordecai's monologue about why he cant get with CJ because he still misses Margaret despite knowing shes gone, hits so close to home. Growing up with this show you enjoy the adventures but rewatching it now you understand the journey. The understand the characters and their lives. Im at university, and its likely I'll never see my ex again, and honestly thats been one of the hardest realisations of my life. But knowing it isn't just me experiencing that pain, it makes it ever so slightly easier. Life is never easy and we will make mistakes. Some people go, others stay, but there'll always be people waiting to meet you one day. The ones who leave may return, but its important to remember to always focus on yourself and those still around you, rather than the what ifs. Thank you Regular Show❤

Regular Show was the pinnocle of my childhood, and many others. Truthfully, no matter what perspective you're watching the show from, there's always something to laugh about and relate to. I cannot think of an experience nearly as abstractly unique as the golden age that was Regular Show and Adventure Time. You don't get to see realism and fiction being so seemlessly intertwined like you did in these bold renditions of a "children's show." This quite literally is the definition of an ageless classic.

I can’t express how much I love this show, it gets more and more relatable as you grow up. I was born in 2006, so I spent every single moment of free time watching any episode of regular show while it was airing on the tv. I’m 17 now, turning 18 next year in may. Needless to say, this show represents my life in a very weird way. And I have a very deep connection to it after rewatching it again. - Especially when it comes to moving on from relationships, its something this show portrayed AMAZINGLY well. Online, distant relationships or real ones, letting go of someone you really like is very hard. It made me feel like mordicai. Obsessive at first, but then it was time to finally let go, it did sting like hell but was a very healthy choice for me. - I’m still friends with that person to this day, and definitely noticed just how much I matured over the years, being able to let go of the past. It’s amazing. THIS SHOW is amazing. Regular Show is a gem in Cartoon Network history that I will never forget, and it truly just get better with time. I grew up with this show and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
