Mordecai really jumped to conclusions here and plus it's not like he was dating her. He could at least asked Margaret who is this yellow bird guy to clear things up.

The Bad what if about this is what if I knew and befriended with that guy from a while ago then the girl is my half but we've been separated by distance and THIS happened! How can I adjust and how can I reassure she has no feeling s for him cause I knew the guy

Mordecai already jumped into the conclusion, before understanding the situation or knew the person was actually Margaret's cousin. His lonely sadness were particularly meaningless, since he doesn't even talk to Margaret or even ask her about his cousin.

I feel a bit of sympathy about Mordecai's depression, but Rigby has a very good point about letting go and moving on.

First of All, that is Margaret's Cousin, And second, he doesn't even have a guts to ask Margaret about her cousin. So his depression were completely meaningless.

well tbh he kinda judged too soon. This was her cousin not fiance and this particular matter he kinda put on himself since he hadn't met him yet and automatically assumed it was her fiance simply cause he was a man

yes its her cousin and she was screaming yes dude yes cause he got a prosthetic leg after his real leg got amputated for some unknown reason and mordecai misunderstood it as a marriage proposal

If I were him I would've walked inside and met him and have margaret introduce him to her cousin rather than just jump to conclusions ab being a fiance simply because he is a man like he is. Ofc the depression he had in the first episode of season 5 was plausible cause that breakup was for real (although I kinda knew Margaret wouldn't be absent for long and would be back within the next year or so lol but thats not the point here since thats a completely different episode)
