I enjoyed the video. Thanks and I'm looking forward to the next one. I have had several SELLITA SW200 automatic movements with the "helicopter effect".

Thank you for watching! The Helicopter effect is an unfortunate issue that comes up, but luckily it has a relatively easy fix! The video should air next week:)

Thank you for this. My workhorse Bunker has suffered at least 2 falls on concrete over the years and was running 35 sec/day slow. By adjusting the screw all the way to the + mark I got it to run around -10 secs slow. Still not ideal, but acceptable. The lever for broad adjustment vanished halfway under the rotor assembly, and I wasn't going to touch that for fear of breaking things. 😅

Thank you for tuning in! Making adjustments with the pendulum is tricky, Jeremy makes it look easy, but my watch ended up being +60 seconds faster 😂

😂 Oh geez! haha I don't think I would be able to handle Jeremy if this caught some traction! Maybe we could make it some sort of goal😂

Helicpter effect is down to the reverser wheels, either clean and lubricate or replace I tend to just replace them. Looking forward to the video.

Adjusting ETA2824,SW200, Soprod, Ronda Mechano or PT5000 is a walk in a park to sensitive Miyota studs. The vintage stuff is a nightmare with free sprung ballance or Breguet overcoil. Thanks for the video.

Interesting review. Why do you test watches only in 3 positions, instead of 5 or 6 positions? What's wrong with crown up (3H) position? After all, that's the position which most people rest their watch in ... over night. Most of my watches have leather straps and deployant clasp. Hence the crown up position (for me) is the only available position to rest the watch in.

Good video! Going to regulate my watch at some point. It’s running a little fast at +20.

Thank you! It is always nice to get it dialed in!
@MrPINKFL0YD5 ай бұрын
You need to dial it in in all positions otherwise you can have it way out in them if you don't.

Hello I have Marathon GSAR that is 30 seconds slow per day. I’ve never had any dealings with a watch repair. Is it expensive to have this done? Also is it normal to hear things moving around inside the case, almost clanking around when I gently shake it? Thanks and sorry for the questions. I’m new to automatic watches.

I’d like to see how an Omega co-axial movement is regulated, as far as I can see there isn’t one video on KZfaq showing this.
@swisswatchcompany17109 ай бұрын
That would be interesting, if we come by one, I will see if Jeremy can take a swing at it :)

what size screwdriver do you use/recommend for fine adjustments?

Hy guys! Unfortunately the numbers are different in reality...I've bought my Bunker and it was minus three seconds/day. In the regulation sheet it was written +1. Today at exactly six months since I've bought it it's minus 10 seconds a day... I'm a bit disappointed because a movement who loses time it's very annoying because it's a little bit difficult to set the time. I wish it would run faster instead, that wouldn't be a problem. I'm concerned, because it's seems that it's loosing time a little bit faster than it should. Thanks guys, you're doing a great job, I'm very happy with my Bunker, despite this little issue with the movement.

This is correct due to the fact that we can't regulate it exactly to the wearers needs. For example a watch could be plus 2 dial facing up and minus 4 dial on its side or 6 hour facing up and then plus 3 seconds crown facing down or 9 hour facing up which would be an average of plus one second per day. That would be a very well regulated watch for most people but if this person has the watch mostly on its side then it will run a bit slower per day. There are also many other factors that can have an influence on the rate such as a hit to the watch, temperature or little movement of the wearer not having the movement fully wound through the rotor or manuely winding it a little per day. What I would advise is to get an average of the rate for each day of one week and then bring it to a local watch maker and ask them to adjust it by however many seconds. Hope this helps it's difficult to explain this through text. I could go into more depth of this in a video if that would help.

If you know how to regulate a watch with etachron system - like the Sellita he is using - you then understand this guy is really bad explaining what to do or just want you to get confussed.

The guy talks too much. Its painful to watch the video. Just focus on how to regulate watch not your life story
