after hearing about Panton for years almost exclusively through jokes and stories on videos like some sort of mythical creature, paired with AH ending, it's very surreal to be watching these new videos in the best way possible.

If Geoff wants to know why hair is one of the most difficult things to get right in video games; it's because rendering hair is absurdly difficult since having good hair requires the most complexity in all three aspects of objects in video games; complex geometry (lots of detailed small objects), complex physics (each strand needs to interact with other strands and wind), and complex lighting (hair is semi-transparent). Hair is absurdly computationally expensive, so developers take shortcuts that make hair look "good enough" for real-time rendering by either having it be one complex object (which makes it look like plastic that is just one mass, in this game the mohawks look like they use this technique) or by using other methods like shell texturing (basically stacking small planes on top of eachother to create depth using few overall polygons) that is used in this game for other characters. Shell texturing has aliasing issues but is very computationally cheap for the level of detail it provides and is very often used in video games. If video games had well-rendered hair it would either have to sacrifice a lot in other areas to keep up performance, or you'd have to accept awful performance like the case was with HairWorks in the Witcher 3.

"Bitches leave!" One of the best parts of the game is an NPC saying 'Bitches come!' and it made me cackle.

Why is Gavin's hate for chromatic aberration a bit? The unholy trinity of that, motion blur, and film gain should never have been a thing outside of the xb360/ps3 era and should be always be disabled if the choice is there or modded out if the choice isn't there.

Peter Weller does reprise his role as Robocop in this game which is really damn cool.

I love f**kface and I'm so glad I have a reason to watch gaming videos again, I really only watched AH and when they died down I kinda stopped. The Pantonator has brought me back, he's brought us all back, for the Renaissance we all need. I like when they are invested in the game and have an objective to complete as opposed to just doing a f**kface podcast over gameplay haha but mostly I'm glad to see all the lads having fun together, I love when it has all ANEGG in the video as well
