I cooked it like when it's served fresh. Had a lot of leftovers, wrapped it in microwave safe clingfilm (or whatever it's called) and stored that in a different bag. When you leave it in the film and microwave it, it's not mushy at all! It's great

It helps to cook your rice down completely before packaging it. You want to pack it when there is not steam coming off the rice so that all the moisture has evaporated. That’s why it’s not mushy when you microwave it.

It depends on how thick your plastic is some of them are thick enough so you can put it in the microwave

@@protato2720 I never said it was safe but you can still put it in there it’s not going to melt all the way or anything it just going to get a little thinner tho but then again it’s only in there for a small amount of time

@@protato2720 I agree and I feel so discouraged sometimes with plastics. we now have a plastic planet seemingly heating up in a global warming microwave. Julie still shines in everything she does.

some ppl microwave it in a bowl with an ice cube in the middle, maybe that’s better

No unless it already was when you made it in the rice cooker or stove
