Thank-you, Helen. I'm going to try that bending tip this afternoon. That's a nice shade of turquoise; for some reason, I'm very partial to green Strats. I use the guitar as a way to detach from work. I keep it set up in our living room next door door so I can duck over and play for 10 minutes.

Old boy in Luton. Saw Frampton live in Wembley in 76. Also with Humble Pie in Glasgow, Steve Marriot singing the only way he could. Great memories. Helen you are a wonderfull musician, I cant imagine if you had been alive back then if you had not been snapped up by one of the bands of the day. You would have made a difference to their sound for sure.

thank you Helen when my playing starts to stagnate I put down my guitar and watch other players ( you are one of them ) and listen to genre's and songs I wouldn't usually listen to just to get out of my comfort zone . inspiration can sometimes come from the most unlikely of places

Talkbox is like a new instrument. You‘ll have to learn how to breath while talkboxing. And learn how to not spit too much, yes it can be a little messy. I added an extra „adapter“ at the top so I can take that top piece of and only clean that. Not always the whole tube.. Its fun and amazing. 💪🏽🖖🏽🍀

Nature always helps. Friends not always ;-) Having the perfectionist syndrome, you have to get used to exhaustion from time to time (hopefully yourself, not everyone around you ;-), maybe sometimes you can let go a little. ps. you can set face tracking in Canon - then it won't jump with focus, but the neck and guitar will be slightly out of focus - if they are in front of you (unless you zoom in on your head while playing ;-) If you think that the sharpness of the guitar is more important than your face, then you can turn on object tracking - the guitar.

i'm playing 56 years, been around in bands-gigs- etc... when i'm stuck i leave gits alone for a day or 2 and come back fresh. i work on about 50-70 songs a week of my own stuff. it works. keep the fire burning. j ny usa

I completely lost faith in myself when it comes to playing. I started learning to play during the pandemic and did quite well for the first year but got stuck in an endless plateau. Now I'm even scared of touching the guitar 😢

I feel you. I'm sure you got some reinvigoration here. Plus maybe you should remind yourself what made you hold her in the first place. Then shut the door to all the noises in your head about how much you would or could have done so far if you'd kept at it and go pick that baby up and love her again😊. Does she have a name?

You are a beautiful soul and a beautiful woman, solid guitar player… a true artist. Most of the gigging and touring musicians are average or under… When I play music, musicians look into the ground and shrug their shoulders in defeat… without proper back up and management I never stood a chance in 🇦🇺, suffering from manic depression didn’t help. I can see myself in you, when I was younger, the passion, dedication, determination and perseverance. Keep doing watcha doin’👍🏽❤️BTW, I wouldn’t have the balls to do what you did bending the whammy bar and strings behind the nut on the gig… Strats are notorious for tuning stability 😄😁😆🙏🏽🇦🇺
