There was nothing like going into that dark section on the old version. And the smell in there was amazing. Looks great but the old version might be better.

The intertwining of the rides plus the guest walkways/viewing areas are wonderful.

This is top-tier. Both Disney and Universal need to make their new lands more dense, with intertwining attractions, walkways, and decorative features. Fewer giant warehouses and more smaller attractions! 😊 Note: Disney did this at Disneyland, with the Disneyland Railroad going through Splash Mountain, but the best example is in Disneyland's Tomorrowland, where The PeopleMover, Monorail, Autopia, and Submarine Voyage are all intertwined. Sadly, the PeopleMover at Disneyland is now defunct, but the one at Walt Disney World still goes into the buildings of various other Tomorrowland attractions and crosses over guest walkways.

The log flume ride is looking super fun! Love the theming with the rock, coaster around... :)

Was the interior scene in the “seven dwarfs mine” the part that was lost in the fire? Having that be a walkthrough AND part of the log flume AND part of the train coaster was one of the best areas in Europa Park. Very sad if that’s the case.

Why is there a guy wearing a VR headset on the ride? Is that a thing/option?

To be honest, that looks quite boring in comparison to the previous mine with loads of details and cool music. I thought that Europa Park would rebuild this with much more love and care, as they had done with the Pirates of Batavia. But this is a bit of a nothing-burger.
