So nobody told them about the extra episodes from when he was teaching the kids in the kingdom or slime Diaries(note. Idk if u would want to watch on the channel it’s pretty boring just world building , ecchi , an characters that ppl wonder were the story was with them before this said episodes) have fun 😅😊

19:28 The killer lore and world building of this movie brings me extravagant joy every time. They did maddeningly good with hyping up the reconnecting of the Orge Village, beinging in another rally kingdom, introducing another Primordial (who might even matter again someday. Who knows?), and linking Claybitch's bullshite with other events and people around the continent. Also, Towa is FANTASTIC. Kind of a simp for that crown, but she's a genuine and kind woman, and her character is one i hope gets squeezed back into the future seasons. Damn glad ya'll watched this. Ya'll gonna nuuuuuuut over season 3, eventually. I got goosebumps and stiff nipples just remembering the excitement.

Idk 100% if this is true but what I heard was it was added in later as a flashback so it is cannon but probably won’t be mentioned for a while unless they deviate from the LN and Manga which could be possible

Hiiro is using a Nagamaki, it's esentially a Katana with a Long Handle basically a Guan Dao Sword but as a Katana Also this Film is Semi Non-Canon cause of Violet, but her introduction to Rimuru will be either added or retconned in some way

Violet primordial is great, and White and Yellow primordials are awesome as well. They won't come into play for season 3, but if season 3 is 24 episodes and there's a season 4 with 24 more episodes, those 3 primordial Demons will become major characters.

It totally is. Like SAO's Ordinal Scale, it was originally not canon, just new content, but the author was quickly on board, making it work, because it was just too damn good, from what I've heard. I don't have his LINE, but sounds good to me.

@@grip3939 Well he's wrong, this wasn't in the LN/Manga at all, We never heard of Raja or Hiiro before this. This is completely new, but Slime's author generally doesn't write anything that isn't canon so I think its safe to assume that this is canon too.

@Haeruna raja was mentioned in the light novel and web novel but only as a location near tempest and mention of small scale battles near the kingdom , the rest is anime cannon . They are making 2 or 3 total movies introducing the 3 demon trio , this was violets movie next is Jean and blanch will get one about the dyed shore red

In LN, the primordial demon Violet's main specialty is to create different sorts of poison. This movie is about her introduction, which is not really expected since the white primordial has been mentioned a lot in LN. Well, at least that's what I think😅

If I had ONE nitpick with this movie, and Slime in general... It always ends up a tad bit too clean. NO ONE dies, there are too few consequences in the story.

@@Chrisfragger1 I will say that I do believe they are just trying to focus on making a story that’s about the world rather then having some tragedy. As much as a tragedy would be cool, I can see why they don’t do it in this anime, cause the focus on the world building part is just SO GOOD.

Man In the first 6 min of the movie where Hiro and his ogre comrades hunted down by clayman majin soldiers and yamza got brutally killed was awesome knowing clayman majin soldiers were ruthless but reckless, but the Majin soldiers got clapped by tempest army and the lycanthropes/beastman country (forgot the name)

It seems like it's a mini arc for Violet's character as much as Blanc's "story". So this is canon, but was not a written work. (I think i read it somewhere that it is part of the overall story, just not written) Imagine if the "Lake Shore Dyed Scarlet Incident" became a movie too (of course as a flashback because that incident happens prior to Rimuru's reincarnation.

i really hope the Studio will continue the Anime and takes their time to animate the Light novel further - rushed work will look ugly. There is enough stuff for atleast 2 more Seasons and the Light novel still isnt finished (but the author mentioned that the end is near). So i guess the material is enough for 3 or 4 Seasons until we reach the end.

It is officially semi-canon. A lot of the lore and info from this story are canon. But the placement of the story in the timeline isn't "canon." The stance for this story is that as far as it concerns things connected to the events of this story, it is canon, and that as far as it doesn't concerns things connected to this story, the story doesn't exist, aka isn't canon. But like I said, the lore and info on some stuff is canon regardless. For example, Violet's involvement with this kingdom, Regardless of how it ends up with the kingdom, even if Rimuru doesn't interfere, it is to be assume that Violet figures out that her subordinate messed up the way Violet wanted things to go, and thus that Violet doesn't take Towa's body as her vessel.
