Reiss Nelson opens football pitch at his old Primary School

Жыл бұрынIn a bid to help youngsters and give back to his local community, Reiss Nelson paid a visit to his old primary school to open a new training facility, funded by himself.
Our winger headed to the Michael Faraday School in Walworth where his love of the game began as a kid, to meet the next generation of supporters and unveil a new 4G football pitch, which he hopes will help inspire and unearth future stars from that area.

I know footballers get paid well but compared to regular first teamers, he can't be on much, yet he makes this gesture to the community. From what i've seen of him this season, he is well worth hanging on to by Arsenal. Well done Reiss.

@@misterocain the man was simply saying there are more players who gets paid huge wages yet never helps out in any way albeit their community whether home or abroad and yes he isn't on much whether double the nurses money per year . He is one of the lowest paid at arsenal yet he could accomplish this achievement is what the man is trying to say don't make his comment look stupid cos he isn't..

@@SnowMan-qp7gc That's the point i was making. Reiss is well paid but not as well paid as most other players who do not make the gesture that Reiss did. Of course Nurses (and Doctors and Medics and Firemen and Police) should be valued more but that shouldn't detract from Reiss' gesture. Without that gesture we wouldn't be talking about it.

Hats off to Reiss. He's a great guy. This gesture makes me have mad respect for him even more. I'm so proud of this football club, the values being instilled from top to bottom. God bless him even more as he gives back and tries to make a difference in people's lives. Wrighty is just an uncle to the boys. There's no better club ambassador in any club I know than Wrighty.

Wow, Nelson and Wright together! What Reiss Nelson did is bringing future generations of Arsenal fans to the Emirates Stadium and everywhere Arsenal will go to. I would like to give double thumbs up for his sharing and giving. I also hope he plays well on the pitch and is given an extension like Nketiah was given after the last season.

Despite not being a starter for Arsenal, I must say, Reiss is a good backup for our forwards. Maybe a little more training, and he could be even better. I quite like him. And those goals again Nottingham were good too
