Voluma® is a hyaluronic acid filler that can last for up to 2 years! A great benefit to using a cannula for temple filler is that we can go back in through the same spot to make sure we get even, beautiful results. As an added bonus, using a cannula (which is a blunt tip) helps to minimize the risk for bruising.
It is common to do 1 syringe of filler per side for temples, but today we’re doing a ½ syringe per side to start slow and then in a week we will have our patient back and see how she likes it or if she wants a little more. Filler is an art, and one that you do not want to rush!

Will this lift the upper face at all? I have small festoon edema on one cheek Had co2 three months ago no difference

Yes, temple filler may help in this regard but it depends on what your goal is. Your injector should be able to give you guidance here.

I just had temple filler resatylane and a tiny bit of cheek filler today and my surgeon told me to massage it five times a day. I will say I am icing as much cheeks are a little swollen for some reason. Do you advise to massage it? ❤

We don't recommend massaging HA filler. You don't want to displace it. When we inject Sculptra we ask patients to massage for 5 minutes, 5x/day for 5 days. So double check with your provider to make sure you have the right instructions.
