For that "plus" keywords on the spell, i don't know if it is what you meant, but the Lux's Final spark has overwhelm. It's the first thing that came to my mind

I think riot has learned from dragons that these aggressive big stated archetypes need keywords like overwhelm to actually finish games.

Just to mention that for Rek’Sai you do not need to lurk that many times. If you think about it she on her own already gives you +4/+0, so she should have 7 attack by the time you first strike with her. So if everything goes to plan she would flip by turn 5 to 7 and 11/7 overwhelm for 3 mana is insane during those turns, not to mention she continues to grow. She also reloads your hand, which for a deck so focused on early game is huge. Love her!

Attacking on odds, T1: 1 drop lurker +1 or +2 with reksai on top T2: piranha lurker +1 or +2 with rek on top T3: rek attacks +1 +1 from extra lurk I can see you going to +7 with a good hand in turn 5 hand

yeah if reksai is the top 3 cards of your deck she will level on turn 3 if you got piranha from mulligan

If you pick Rek'Sai with Careful Preparation you probably can get +3/+0 on lurkers.

talking bildgewater as an aside considering pykes lore we are def getting the jaull fish which is prob gona be a giant lurker (probably the 8 cost we see created in hand or just as part of pykes lvl up). also the reason we didn't really have spells do anything other then speed before is because it doesn't really make sence (except a trap would work) since all other keywords effect only monsters unless a spellshield spell would be created but i think that would just be busted

Hey! I have a theory about Pyke I wanted to share to see what your thoughts were. I think he's gonna be an Elusive that enters the board attacking if you trigger his Lurk, returning to the deck if he strikes...or...something. Maybe like "Nexus Strike: Shuffle me into your deck" or something that makes you work him out again with a dummy good payoff, such as him being a free attacking elusive that suddenly crosses you out of the game. Let me know your thoughts!

I just had a thought what if you play rek'sai with blade dance so that you can attack on opponents turns to keep activating lurk, then use twin disciplines to buff rek'sai's attack to get the level up

@Prahalad Biswal ya it won't work on your attack but I meant to keep activating it on your opponent's attack turn so it will still double the speed that it increases

Has anyone considered that you do not need to attack with the lurker to give +1/+0? I keep looking at the wording of the keyword, and it seems like that you do no need to attack with the lurkers to trigger the lurker keyword.

@@simi104 Hex Core Upgrade can now grant Viktor Lurk, which is useless and slightly reduces the chances of getting a good keyword like Overwhelm or Elusive I said it as a joke tho, is not that big of a deal

@@Suprasavage I'm assuming Katarina would be to attack on every turn, but yeah you're both missing out on lurkers from Bilgewater (= less consistent lurk triggers) and the tempo loss of Katarina herself

Yeah i think you are right i thought katarina as turn 8 finisher witn one turn attack buffs but it doesnt seem worth
