it’s been a while since Jaz and I cosplayed someone new; with COVID snatching conventions away from us and prohibiting us from going places and doing so many things, we felt super unmotivated and I’m not going to lie I was losing a bit of my passion for it. But I think getting the vaccine and starting SK8 really helped to spark that love for it in us again. So much so that we bought new Cosplay things, went to target in Cosplay, and then had a picnic at the park as Reki & Langa.
We didn’t get as much content as most people probably would of, but instead just vibed and hung out and enjoyed each other’s company while also being chaotic and in character. I even learned to skateboard a little. I’m super thankful we stumbled upon watching SK8; i hadn’t found an anime I was passionate about since Beastars and I was starting to lose my love for it, but then Reki said hello and I fell in love so -
The pandemic has made everything difficult and has zapped so much motivation but this felt like a win. ❤️🏳️‍🌈
