Looks like AT is headed in a good direction! I am a little nervous to update to 7 I'm gonna see what peeps have to say about it over the next fem months and then update when it's released. Already seeing people online complaining that it wont download or it crashes instantly.

I just ordered my FLX 4, waiting for the deck to arrive. In the meantime, I'm looking for tutorials to get into DJing. But holy sh*t, I'm an avid raver, but I know little about actual DJing, THIS SHIT LOOKS FIRE, can't wait for my deck to arrive! Also, I'm in Dallas, if there's anyone here who wants to take on a goofy but committed sidekick, lmk! I'm eager to learn and play.

I have a question if I am a rekordbox user with Verizon 6 and pay monthly fees for the last 2 years, when I upgrade to Rekordbox 7 will have to cancel my Version 6 fees and start on new version 7 or it just continues with converting to 7, please clarify

If I connect DDJ-FLX4 to the Recordbox 7, does the recording function require payment in performance mode?

No it does not. Hardware unlock with the DDJ-FLX4 will enable you to record. The only time the record function is disabled is if you are using a streaming service in rekordbox.

how can I change the sampler default folder path in my MacBook? the rekordbox folder is automatically set to my music folder and ive managed to move the recordings folder to another directory but the samples is still stuck there and each time I move it it comes back when I start rekordbox. how can I fix this? thanks :)

For use for export mode to a USB drive, it is free to use. For performance mode, many rekordbox support products feature “hardware unlock” which allows you to use it for free without a subscription. Go to rekordbox.com for the list of hardware unlock devices. Some devices and features require may require a subscription. Those are all listed as well on rekordbox.com

It's so disappointing. I got disconnected while playing life on set. Very annoying. Do I have to pay before I could be able to use my DDJ RX with rekordbox 7? working fine with rekordbox 6. But I got kicked out yesterday night while playing sayikf trial expired. Pls I need an explanation or how to fix cos it's annoying. My DDJ RX is gonna be a waste cos I can't afford to be paying such amount monthly ain't even earning such amount. I'm frm Nigeria. Will I have to sell my controller n go back to serato?

XDJ-RX is not a hardware unlock device for rekordbox 7 and requires a subscription. If you wish to continue using rekordbox with hardware unlock, you may continue you to use rekordbox 6. Alternatively, recommend exporting music to a USB drive and using the RX in standalone. But if wish to use rekordbox 7 with the XDJ-RX3 with a laptop without a subscription, you can still use Export Mode with Link Export activated.

rekordbox is compatible with up to the oldest Apple security supported version of macOS. That is usually up to 3 versions old. The latest versions of rekordbox does not support anything beyond that because it would it be a security risk for the user, if you are using an older MacBook, we recommend using the last compatible version of rekordbox for your version of macOS.
