I saw Monolord about 8 months ago in a small club in New Orleans. Leaning against the stage, two feet from Thomas' pedalboard, getting a pick and a fist bump from all three band members was quite a thrill for this 62 year old.

Monolord are one of the few bands that have that effect on me these days. They and some very few others are like a shining gem in a homogeneous world of the decidedly mediocre. Tears of joy and goose bumps are guaranteed with every listen.
