Күн бұрынRyan Reynolds is back and ready to take over the MCU and all we have to say is FINALLY because we've only been waiting for this movie for the entirety of the pandemic and beyond.
We previously watched the teaser (you can watch that here - • DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE... ) and we are left speechless. This movie is going to save the MCU!
We got more of an in depth look at Cassandra Nova in this trailer as well, Professor X's twin sister that he attempted to kill in utero....but she survived. Her vengeance against Professor X and his beloved X-Men may be a huge theme here.
There's a lot to take in and we have many thoughts/predictions and also sadness reminiscing the TVA and Loki Season 2. Safe to say we were not ready to be back at the TVA. Too soon.

I LOVED THIS TRAILER! I was surprised there was no real build up to revealing Wolverine but it was amazing to see them together. That final shot is EVERYTHING! I wonder if Doctor Strange or Wong are showing up. That looked liked a very familiar portal. It looks like a complete blast. July 26th can’t come soon enough!

If you pause at the giant ant man mask opening there are definitely other mutants there, most obviously, Azazel. So it could be very possible some Xmen show up.

So everything you've seen here and in the last teaser is only in the first act of the movie. So much more to come. And this TVA isn't on the up & up. Also, Hugh's first line in this trailer is a nice nod to him playing the role one last time. And that was Dogpool.

My theory is that this is the actual comic book accurate Old Man Logan. I know the Logan movie is inspired by the Old Man Logan run, but the actual story is nothing like the comic. It's merely inspired by the concept of a washed up Wolverine with "performance issues" and who is down on his luck, but they turned it into a cowboy/lone wolf & cub movie. Let me explain... I'll do my best to be spoiler free. Logan being blamed for letting his world down is in reference to a specific incident that happens in Old Man Logan that breaks him and he never pops his claws again. Hence, his claws not popping in the bar with deadpool. There's a few things that are switched around, like the void from Loki is in place of the dystopian future of the villain' ruled USA from Old Man Logan. The Giant-Man/Scott Lang head is a direct reference to Old Man Logan, where there's a town called Pym Falls that is a town with Giant Man's corpse is the focal point of that town. Old Man Logan is a buddy-road trip story with Hawkeye. They switched it with Deadpool for the movie. Old Man Logan did wear the actual classic blue/yellow suit before he became a washed up mess, so if he's gonna come out of retirement for one last job, the yellow/blue costume would be the one he dust off to suit up. Last point; I believe Cassandra Nova is the stand-in for who was responsible for breaking Wolverine, turning him into Old Man Logan, thus, his motivation to go along with Deadpool.

We don’t think he’s from x-men 97. We just think there’s a lot of the same themes going on from the show, hence what Cassandra Nova is notorious for and what happened on Genosha in X-Men 97 tv show.

@@relatablenerds I agree. Ryan Reynolds made Deadpool and was majorly made because of his advertising gimmicks. So I think with getting Hugh back and insisting on an R rating... this could be one of the best Disney movies in a while. It's certainly one that I feel the need to see in theaters in years.

I think at the time, we were just commenting on Wolverine and how him and Deadpool’s relationship will be one that tests each other, resulting in some dark humor. The MCU doesn’t need saving. They still have had numerous critical and financial successes after Endgame even with some of the missteps. Also if you really think Star Wars is fumbled then you clearly are lost.
