Namitha Pramod is an actor and a businesswoman. She started very early on as a child artiste acted in television serials and then moved on to movies. She made her film debut in supporting role in Rajesh Pillai's critically acclaimed Traffic. In 2012, she played her first lead role in the film Puthiya Theerangal, opposite Nivin Pauly. It was followed by lead roles in Sound Thoma with Dileep and Pullipulikalum Aattinkuttiyum with Kunchacko Boban in which she played a Mohiniyattam dancer. There were several hits during thuis period. There was a period of lull in between in her career and now she hopes to focus back on her career as an actor. She is also a businesswoman with a cafe called summertown and men`s clothing line called Peprika. Her next movie is with actor Soubin Shahir called Machante Malakha.
In this conversation we delve primarily into her inner world as she talks about the biggest struggles of attachment and losing her loved ones. She talks about her close-knit family that includes her parents and her sister. She talks about mental health and how setting boundaries has helped her in delaying with relationships.
