Honestly, I think that usually guys on 30s are more attractive than 20s. They are more mature and motivated, and even looks better. So John and Jason, you guys should be more confident!

I don't think there is anything wrong with being 30 and single. The most important thing is being happy with your life. It is not wise to be in a relationship with the wrong person just to avoid being single. Just my thoughts.

Nowadays, it’s getting harder &harder to have a date not only in NYC but also in the whole 🌎. This is due to the fact that ppl are so stressed out 😰 they forget this important thing 💜 in life, or they just think that person is out of his/her league. Congrats 🎉🍾🎊 for those 100k. Loved this video. Shout out to Esther! The honest dialogue and questions are so refreshing. Approaching as a female (esp in these times) is SO hard. I even had a situation today while shopping...it was so obvious, but neither one of us did a thing about it. Approaching in public is not something that comes natural for me (get nervous or flustered). I’d much rather have a guy start a convo like Jason and John exemplified. Keep it going JBros! Love your stuff!

I love ❤️ how candid you guys are in your videos. I don’t understand how you two are still single, except that you both are probably workaholics. COVID definitely does not help the dating scene, I’m hoping that things will get better soon so that you guys can find your perfect matches. They’re out there waiting for you to find them or for them to find you. Love you guys!!!!❤️💖💜

When you said that you’re the type to regret not doing something, it reminded me of a quote I came across a while back that I truly believe in. “I don’t regret the things I have done. I regret the things I could have done when I had the chance.”

I like how jbros is often talking about single life and dating these last few videos. It's fascinating to hear how you elaborate on your current situation. Very interesting to hear about the dating scene in NYC, coming from an outsider's perspective that has lived in a city where everyone knows everyone basically. if I ever visit NYC, we should meet up. Would love to hear dating tips.

I saw my current boyfriend at the restaurant he’s a chef at. I immediately said “mine” and I left him my number. He never reached out to me so 6 months later I came back and now we’ve been dating for two years. Never give up on something you want. Gender roles aside a woman can go up to a man and they should! If you want something, go get it.

I believe for everyone is different and with each person the vibe is different. Of course, is easier if the men approached first, but if the person is totally mind blowing for any reason i probably will seek a way to know if we share any common interest. But the running on the street for the girl's number was such a cute move! ❤

imo the city is such a cacophony of hustling ppl it almost makes it as difficult as choosing what show/movie to watch on all streaming services... everyone’s so busy doing their own thing that actual dating is probably only a very small percentage of the goals they’re striving for getting the perfect dysfunctional relationship that you want is like winning the powerball... don’t get me wrong, i also see the city as being a great place to meet all sorts of ppl but it’s really up to an individual to seek out like-minded or background people for any real connection congrats on 100k! loving you guys every step of the way!

Old Guy Observations & unsolicited advice. I admire the intensity you both have to find the more ideal "hopefully forever" relationship. It also appears there's much more expectation, family/culture or self imposed, that you should be at a more committed, partner and 2-3 kids + home in the suburbs, place in life. It seems that this can get in the way of just friggin breathing at times. We all want to be desirable from our appearance and accomplishments that puts us higher on the "good prospects scale" (and you both appear in good standing from what I can see) ... but it feels like you need to reassure yourself that you are enough and that the right connection will come to you without forcing it. So much easier to say than do but reminding yourself of that on occasion may help when the pursuit for the most ideal thing seems elusive. 🐻🤗s

Esther is so charming and lovely. To kind of answer your question "how do girls drop hint?," I will give you 1straightforward example from my "pick up line dictionary". Keep in mind that when a woman (you just meet) talk to you in public for 10-15 min, she mostly finds you intriguing or attractive in some way. Here is my example when I talk to an attractive man in public: Me: Do you have a brother? Him: Yeah. Me: If he is attractive like you, I would like to have his number. (Some man actually gave me their brothers' number!) Anyway, hope this simple example is helpful.

Sorry just want to comment again! I really enjoy reading everyone’s comments. Showing vulnerability and transparency on this topic I energy seeing how others think. I think how you communicate and give social cues depends on someone’s comfort level and communications style. So I try to read their body language and see how they communicate to determine my approach. I have noticed I have talked to more shy guys lately. So talking to them about their interests helps break down barriers and be that listener for them. The guy I am currently speaking to is an officer in the military who is VERY ambitious with goals of med school etc...showing I was a good listener and not a hinderance to his life path he has completely opened up to me. Which surprised me because he has a stoic side to him. Now he texts all time and I appreciate it. I’m 47 and he is 24 so I do not expect anything but just enjoying our conversations and dates ❤️ Hope this helps whomever reads this ❤️

If I think a guy is attractive I’ll usually do side glances and try to look without making it obvious - it’s a subtle thing and hard to grasp - which is ok because I’m focusing on doing my own thing. But no matter how much someone (girl or guy) tries to hide it, the way they stare and how often will usually give it away.

Hey John and Jason, thanks for the videos! I was wondering if John could cover some info on the working life in NYC as a new dentist? including options to work outside the city, finding a full time positions, etc.

O.M.G. I wish I had the guts to grab a guys number. I agree with Ester I feel like I have to have liquid courage to approach a guy. But I appreciate when a guy approaches me in a respectful way of course. I hate putting out effort and it's not given back so I think that's why I wait to be approached #struggleisreal

But honestly when the guy’s friend is talking to me just because he thinks that I needed to be attended too, I’d rather be left alone. Is it only me tho? 🤔

i think the feeling of being comfortable in approaching someone i find attractive comes with age. i am more than 30 yrs old and i found it like a challenge i took upon myself to approach this cute guy who was skim boarding on the beach in Vietnam (both of us foreigners there) but it was also because i saw him dropping hints too (ie i saw him looking at me too lol). long story short, we talked the night away (my convo starter as i approached him was the lamest - "where are you from?' all smiles haha) by the beach under the coco tree and a star-filled sky haha. so basically it takes courage and the hints you'd see from the guy would defo help :D

"I regret not doing something" that's a good mindset, John. Jason had put that into practice by running a few blocks after a girl. 😂 Hope u guys meet the right girls this year. It would be great to see you marrying on the same day.

This should be in JBros Raw... I mean you guys are so blunt, but I still love your content 😂 The thing with what Esther said at the end.... I don't think that is true where girls will try to support their girl friend to get with the guy... women are competitive amongst each other. All women want the same high value male and will compete and get at each other's throats until they are the winner...
