It’s not easy walking away from an unequally yoked relationship. But we can do all things through Christ.. And it’s worth it

Can confirm that if you’re single, follow the Lord’s advice about being equally yoked. I was born again while married and this is a terribly hard path. I still love my husband, but I don’t have the same desires as him anymore and it’s put a huge strain in our relationship. Now I’m backslidden and it’s even harder to come back with someone who encourages me to conform to the world.

It's amazing how everything you say is truth and comes out so naturally and pleasing to hear. In my case my wife wanted our 2 children being baptised. This yoked me to church and now, 10 years later, I myself hope to be baptised in 2 weeks time :) God is patient but knows whats best for sure. 🙏

I had so much joy listening to what a great work the Holy Spirit has done in your life and within you, Jackie. There is so much truth in your words. We should be aware of how our heart works. The more time you spend with someone, the stronger your bond becomes, and the stronger your bond with that person is, the more susceptible your heart becomes to that person's influence. And whether we like it or not, if someone is not born again, his heart remains in the power of sin, and Satan can use such a person to poison our relationship with the Lord. I made this mistake and it cost me a lot, but by the grace of God I rose up and now I keep myself unstained from the world. Glory be to our heavenly Father, because although we loved our sin and did not seek Him, He found us and showed us what true love is by sending to us His Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who decided to suffer and shed His blood, so that He can make us pure, as He himself is beautifully pure. I am so happy that you have found grace in His eyes, sister, and you can experience His marvelous love 🙂

Hi Jackie Thank you for this wise and timeless message. I was born again in 1995. I gave my life to Jesus through earnestly surrendering, repenting, accepting Him, and then began the process of tension between the carnal man and my spiritual man in Jesus, through faith and grace. Over the years I realized that being born again does not mean you overcome your flesh and then fully walk with the Lord (although sometimes it does)…but rather it is a slower process over time. As His spirit deepens in you a transformation begins to align your heart and spirit to His character and values…and the tension between the relativism of the carnal, and the absolute of His spirit, begins the transformation…it requires unwavering faith over time…and the deepening and maturing of the walk with Him never ends. So, over the last 20 years, as I mature in Him, many friends and colleagues I had fell away…not because I prothelitized, but rather because our yolking became very unequal….It is like putting a fresh water fish in a salt water tank, or perhaps the flipping of two magnets so they repel versus attract. Perhaps ONE of the greatest barriers so many I know have relative to Christianity, a major barrier which stops them from accepting Jesus, is that they fear they will have to give up all the things they enjoy in the world, like sex before marriage, addictions, and unlimited entertainment. This needs to be better explained from those who have accepted Him: There is absolutely nothing you HAVE to give up, however by being born again you will willingly give so much up, in order to gain more of Him. The Holy Spirit’s help and incorporation in you through inviting Him in, is what over time begins the magnet to turn in the opposite direction, and takes you from being in and of the world, to becoming in the world but not of it. So Jackie, again thank you for your surrender and true acceptance of Jesus, and allowing His Holy Spirit to extend through you, not because you have to, but because you wanted to, not because you perhaps were brought to the bottom, but rather because at the bottom of a majestic mountain to be climbed, you need a “sherpa or guide” to accompany and help you (Holy Spirit) reach for the summit. And, along the way, through experience, you become a stronger, better, more agile climber, in the quest of the peaks majesty. The climb is never smooth, there always will be blizzards and ice, however what has changed is that you have a guide who has been there before, and the tools (back packs, pick axes, flairs, oxygen: Gods word, His Holy Spirit, and other that have also given their hearts to Him) to help you…and rather than be scared or filled with fear while climbing, you can climb in inner peace, regardless of the condition. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, that does not mean peace in the outer world, but rather peace in our inner world, the peace that is beyond understanding, the peace which endures and helps us through every storm…he does not quell the outer storms, but rather he gives us peace and wisdom while we navigate them. Jackie, thank you always for being the inspiration for so many, and giving words to the invisible, so those who fear it, can embrace it. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart Lean not unto your own understanding In all your ways acknowledge Him And He will make your path straight” (Proverbs 3: 5-6) 🙏❤️✝️

Hi Jackie sis, everything you said is correct and very important for Christians. Many make wrong choices because they follow what they want and like, rather than what God wants for them. It is important for Christians to grow and mature spiritually before making these decisions. I wish that all single Christians could hear your message and consider their ways. Thank you so much for encouraging single people like myself to totally surrender and to let God choose for us. May God bless you.

Jackie, you are correct!! I’ve failed at two marriages and it was because I wanted what I wanted, instead of seeking God’s perfect choice for me! God has a perfect marriage partner for all of us! I married two bad ladies, basically! The first one was full of her self! Big ego! The second wife I met online and she didn’t tell me she was no-polar!! Disastrous!! So, now, I will trust God to bring another mate! I don’t like being alone, but I’ve been divorced for 13 years and I’m enjoying the peace and quiet and living the single life for God! It’s really you and the Lord that makes you “complete”!! Not you and another person!!!

Amen I agree 👍💯 I'm single too and I believe if you have a relationship with the Lord, then you won't really feel like you need a mate to be happy. I was talking to a boy who is not really a Christian but he believes in God, but my cousin who is a pastor, said he's known him for six years and he's always been a nice boy and real quiet and I felt like maybe the Lord wanted me to talk to him and reach out to him. So at first, we seemed to get along and he acted like he liked me and I definitely liked him, and he kept telling me he doesn't care about sex and he can wait for it and doesn't feel like sex makes the relationship good. So I just figured well, I'll try to be his friend for a while, and see if we get along and if it leads to something else we will see. But after a month he started acting different and acting like he just wasn't really interested in talking anymore..so I just have to keep trusting God

You have been filled with God’s wisdom, peace and love. It is evident and awesome. There is no substitute for being born again!! NONE. The Bible comes alive, and we are made anew. The Holy Spirit within us now makes the Scripture relatable. Our trust in Him catapults forward. Somehow your videos popped up on my feed today and I have watched a few of them. Whether you realize it or not, your testimony can be seen in every one of these videos. It is great to see another on fire for the Lord as you are. Just validates all that I have now experienced firsthand since the Holy Spirit paid me an unforgettable visit in 2020, whereby I quickly turned my life over to Him and abandoned a sinful lifestyle that had gone on far too long. Life has never been the same since, hallelujah! Thanks for sharing your heart. I know many will benefit from hearing what God is doing in your life. Blessings to you and I wish my sister in Christ all the best in whichever way the Lord chooses to have you minister to others! 🙏🏽✝️🤍🛐🕊️

Your message is too late for me, I’ve been in an unequally yoked relationship for a while (19 years) but my 17 year old twins are a result. Both are saved but have not grown much in their faith as our parental front isn’t unified. My explanation of an unequally yoked relationship is two different animals on a yoke. A yoke is usually made from wood and can only go in one direction. So two different animals would be a disaster yoked together. I’m fairly certain in 2 Corinthians it also recommends if the unsaved in the relationship is stronger you must dissolve it. I’m sharing most of my videos with my twins, though they’re boy/ girl. Some of your videos I only share with her. Thank you for the genuineness you always have in your messages. God Bless you Jackie !! 🙏🏻✝️❤️

You are a blessing, Jackie! I have to tell you something: I was recently working in Tel Aviv as a foreign customer for my company. At lunch, a guy from a company was telling his "women stories" about his encounters with Israeli women. I'll leave it at that. Anyway, he was dating a certain girl the other night. He said they didn't come to "his goal", since she was a virgin and keeping herself for marriage! Such a strong testimony by this girl, who probably is Jewish ( not Messianic Jewish ) ! Intimacy truly belongs into marriage, but this Dutch guy was intimate with several women only when he was in Israel, who knows what else he does! Sex belongs into marriage only!

Amen thanks for sharing. I’ve been married twice and both marriages turned out to be a disaster. there’s a lot of things that I’ve surrendered in my life to God and they are blessed by God, but this one area has never been fully surrendered and my life has suffered because of it. My life concerning relationships is full of twists and turns abuse, tears and heartache. and I can only say that I brought it upon myself for not trusting and waiting. well right now I’m going through my second divorce. I have three young amazing children that are with me 24/7 and I am divorcing my wife to protect my children from her. it took me being forced to make the choice between my kids or my wife, and even though I wanted to be in a relationship so badly because it gave me a false sense of comfort. I chose the uncomfortable path I’m in the middle of it and it’s hard, but When my 8 year old daughter looks me in the eyes and tells me daddy thank you from saving me from mommy it’s all worth it.

I don't feel like you rambled on. Perfect length video. I've been in 2 unequally yoked relationships. As you pointed out, it only complicates things when you're not just on different pages but entirely different books. We hit rough waters and found out that we didn't share the same vision, we had different destinations. One relationship had a greater impact on me so the breakup was Rough, painful and took me 4 yrs to heal from. After that I vowed to never have sex again unless it was with my wife. That being said, I also decided to change the way I do things and to only date with the purpose of finding my forever lover. I appreciate your encouragement. The wait and journey can be arduous but I believe God is faithful to keep his word and the trials we endure will be worth it when we get there.

Im going to comment on this not because i disagree completely with what youre saying but i would like to speak from my own experience as someone who is currently in an unequally yoked relationship. First thing i would say is that my partner who is not a Christian does not force me to do things im not okay with like s*x or drinking or anything that doesn't align with my beliefs or values. She is very respectful to me which i appreciate and she always pushes me to work on my own relationship with Christ and even reminds me to pray before we eat, go to church and put Christ first because she knows thats important to me. I would say also that it is not your responsibility as a believer to change someone else, it is their choice and they are the one responsible for their own decision. Now we are not planning on having children and honestly with the way school systems are heading and laws on parenting that is outside of Christian values, I'm not comfortable having kids in the states. I will say that in the relationship, you have to learn to become spiritually single. I would like to make it clear however that this is not Gods will to be unequally yoked and be in a partnership where both of you are not pursuing Christ. God wants a marriage to glorify him and to serve him which in return would being a lot of fulfillment and happiness in the relationship. So i would say in conclusion if you want a spiritually fulfilling relationship, dont be with a non believer.

1 Corinthians 7:34-35 (34) An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord's affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world - how she can please her husband. Yes. A yoke is actually a stiff and thick piece of wood that binds two oxen together so that they can pull the same load equally. If two oxen want to go in different directions the only thing they can do is break the yoke because there is no stretch to it, but was designed that the two might pull together. In the same way two humans are made one by a yoke, sex makes two people one body, the yoke is forged in their souls and flesh. Only by breaking that yoke, damaging body and soul can sexual partners be separated. This is why paul says it is the only sin within the body, because it damages the work Christ is doing within our physical and spiritual bodies to bind us to him. This is also why sexual purity is a huge key to christian victory, because as Christ gains influence in the body he subdues every desire of the flesh but the transformation starts with sexual purity because that is the mechanism he designed to bond us to himself (the source of all transformation power) first and to our God given spouse second.

Just thought of a funny analogy for those God approves vs those he doesn't. Its sort of like insurance, you can go out of network if you want but you're gonna pay. Not just once but over and over until you switch or they come in network. Anyways, just a funny thought.

Fear is a liar God is love ❤ 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. Amen. Only God can truly understand else and heal us completely, you actually just quoted my favorite bible verse (2nd Corinthians 5:17) I had to break up with someone because she wasn't a Christian years ago, that's why I'm so passionate about my finding a biblical Christian woman to be married with like it says in proverbs 31. I feel like you're on that path now Jackie. So glad God saved one of the most women on this earth that's You. (Jackie) I do however want to know what do you look for in a man biblically speaking?

Nice one Jackie I have no doubt about it but you could make a wonderful wife and mother some day. But if you got a clear message from Jesus Christ asking you to be his bride and enter a convent, could you and would you answer this call?
