My acne was this bad growing up. Talked with doc and got me on a routine. Wash with mild disinfectant, exfoliate, moisturizer. Stay away from sugar, use sun screen, things like that, acne got a lot better rather quickly.

While this acne is so bad he should stop shaving his back. It’s causing folliculitis, ingrown hairs, and he needs less irritation and some medication

They don't have access to a lot of Western meds there. Dermatologist there sent people with these problems to technicians like Thuy, who has the reputation of being one of the best. Come from other countries for her help. There are cleansing treatments done at the Spa after the extractions. She recommends med they have access to for the patients specific problems and skin type.

But, pain is gain I guess in the acne business. I was blessed with a acne free complexion. I did have breakouts, of course, and I would pick at them so bad. I was always a picker. I used to beg my dad to let me do his back or pull out his beard hair with tweezers. So, I guess I am a lifer, and I love it.

I think we are watching different videos! Unnecessarily big cuts, half emptied pores. A bit of a bloody mess !

Especially when they don't clean out the pore properly. It causes a post inflammatory condition & Thuy is totally unhygienic. Sigh.

@ Madeline I totally agree, if you watch the Enilsa videos, you can see how it should be done - totally different -hygienic, with Qtips, uses acne wash to help ease of popping & she systematically, gently clears the pores fully. Not like all this deep tissue pushing, incomplete, random squeezing, blood & bacteria! Looks like a pulverised, extremely painful mess, like someone has bashed his acne with a meat tenderiser. I can only grimace imagining the inflamed, infected result of all of this brutal, unsanitary “treatment” I could not watch all of the clip.

Nothing much is done to the face hopefully they at least clean and close the pores once they are done but this is a Doctor/Dermatologist or Esthetician she is a pimple popper. In Vietnam they don't have any requirements for popping pimples they don't need any special training education or licensed to pop pimples. I call these places Pop N Goes or Pop Shops they just pop pimples they don't treat the cause of the acne and with no real acne treatment medications oral or topical the acne just comes back again. For whatever reason these people just keep going to these pop shops over and over again. They don't get cured the popping just temporarily get rid of the acne. So they continue to have their pimples popped and all they end up with is scars pop marks and needing a plastic surgeon. In the USA this isn't allowed to be done a person needs specialized training and education also licensed in the state the live and work. Only a doctor can't use a Scalpel or needle to make a open cut on a person. There are many nerves in the face one cut or stab a little to deep or in the wrong place could permanently damage a person's face. It could even cause parts of the face not to work, could even cause paralyzed portions of the face. Plus it can cause infections. The cotton they use is horrible and should never be used to wipe blood and debris off the clients face the smallest piece of the cotton thread could cause infection by getting trapped inside the wound. Vietnam is a poor country and they do things much differently then in some of the other countryside that provides good medical care. Like in the USA where this would never be allowed to be done to another person this type of treatment would get a business shutdown with huge fines and possible criminal charges. I don't know if these pimple poppers even know the damage they are and can cause so I'm not hating on the popper I guessing they are doing the best they can with what they got. I just wish some common sense was used like using good hygiene and working in sanitary conditions. The nasty gloves the cotton ball are all good ways to get infections and the stabbing deep into the clients face isn't good either it will cause Scaring it will show up more as the client ages. Plus having thier pimoles popped over and over and over again as on going treatment for acne is destroying the clients face. I do like watching the pops it's amazing how big these blackheads and pimple are I'm always hoping the next pop will be even bigger. That being said I could go without see the nasty gloves and all the blood. Would like to see clean gloves proper gauze wipes sanitary conditions. Sorry for the long comment just trying to give you some info, my husband lived in Vietnam for 12 years. He has some stories about these acne shops and they're not good. My old roommate was also from Vietnam she didnt have good things to say about these pop shops either. From what I've been told these pop shops are in every back alley every street corner there everywhere making promises of cure and beautiful skin but the clients never end up with that beautiful skin instead the get scars and pot marks. Also a lot of these shops are not on the up and up they are just trying to make a buck or two. I don't know if this shop on this video is a bad shop or not I'm not saying this popper is ripping people off cause I don't know. Again sorry for the long comment just providing info that I've been told by people who at one time lived in Vietnam.

His face didn’t get infected from this, come on. Of course he came back for more treatments. It’s a course of extractions plus oral medication that treats severe cases like this. The infected pores have to be emptied out. You can’t just leave the cores inside to fester. The before and after photos of her work shows that her treatments work.
