Hello friends! Welcome back again! So today I tried relaxing my 4c hair using the tcb relaxer and mehn did things go downhill 😂. Anyway it's just hair it will grow back then we will repeat because never say never 😂😂. Disclaimer, am not a professional by any chance so try this at your own risk. Based on the pictures I see what you were going for but when relaxing your hair you have to take you time and use both hands. You also have to part your hair as you apply the relaxer because it will stretch out the hair strands. Next please take your time

You don’t need to leave it for longer to get it straight you just need to try using the “super” next time instead of regular. It will do the job trust me.

If you go over it with a box relaxer you'll get the result you want. Be sure to smooth it down as well after you comb it through.

I think you didn't leave it in long enough but i think the outcome is still good. I love the curls.

Nah She left it on for the right amount of time listed on the jar. Lye (jar) relaxers are known to leave a curl in the hair. No lye in Super gets the bone straight look.

@@bluebird1694 I have a hard time choosing between a lye relaxer and a box ( no-lye) relaxer..can you enlighten me about the differences between both, please? And should I go for the super or the regular? I want it to be straight with no curls but with movement and volume not dead straight.

@@amirahasan1542 if you remove all of the curl you run the risk of overprocessing. But in general no lye gets hair straighter than lye
