My great grandparents escaped the Armenian genocide in 1919 and hid in rugs on ships going from Armenia to America. They brought their music and culture with them and I am proud to be an Armenian American 🇦🇲

Dış devletlerin kışkırtması ile doğu ve güneydoğu anadolu'da Bir çok köyde müslüman türkler ermeniler tarafından katledildi. Türkler sadece kendilerini savundu. My parents lived in Soviet Union. and when they were working hard to survive with 3 kids. they had an armenian neighbours who helped a lot with everything they have both physical and mental. and my mom always remembers them with gratitude and thankfulness. Because they moved another country. so we dont have any contact. Thanks armenian family for staying with my family in hard times.

Amrenian people are very kind. I met a family from Armenia in New Delhi when I was just sitting in our National Gallery and they were so amazing and kind to me. Their kids asked lots of questions and they even treated me to lunch with their home cooked delicacies after I gave them a tour to the gallery. It was such a memorable experience! As a South African, being troubled with the issues from that corner of the world, ive never had exposure to Armenian culture or music before. This is something i regret. The music is deep, emotional and speaks to a rich past filled with heriosm, tragedy and sadness. After listening to this, i find myself wanting to learn more about Armenia. This music is beautiful, and if it represents the culture and the people, there is real treasure there.

I am from Europe. I am in my 40's. I was recomended to listen to this by youtube after I was listening to some arabic guitar music to relax. I started to read comments. Out of curiosity while listening... i searched on google "what is duduk". And then I searched and read the wikipedia page about Armenian Genocide. And the first time in many, many years ... I cried. I knew nothing. Why. Why!

What's with the obsession with women? What if it didn't have beautiful women? Why does every countries woman have to be beautiful, or why does that need to be something to be cared about. Why does every country need to have good people according to how you view life? Why can't you assume that there are fiendly people in every single nation by standard? We have many Persian friends in the US. They are historically conscious, culturally rich group of people who prioritize family and are master traders. Thank God at least one of Armenia’s neighbors are so good and generous. Nothing like the late comers from Turha to the region, who had to pillage and murder, in order to carve out a homeland for themselves.
