This video helped me focus on studying when I started college back in 2014. 8 years later, I'm now a working adult. I come back to this video because I need help focusing on work, and now the nostalgia is welling up inside. To whoever made this, thank you for letting my soul breathe. Honestly, I usually can’t work with study music at all. It’s either so calm it’s boring, or so hyped up that I can’t focus. This feels like a wonderful balance between the two, and I really feel like this helps. Thank you. Now I should stop procrastinating and go work. Thanks again, peace.

To whoever composed this, thank you ❤ I first heard this when I hit a crossroads in my career, and I just couldn’t see a way forward. I listened to this piece over and over again, absorbing the relaxing melody with the picture of a wide open road in my mind’s eye. Eventually things did unfold for the better; I’m now in a career I enjoy, and I’m starting to view the unexpected as an open road of possibility instead of something crippling. I occasionally revisit this music to remind myself of the peace it brought me. Thank you again 😊

Inspired as I listened to the track: I imagine - buried so deep in thought - the world we live in today. Same principles, civilized as we are. Cities of vast margins stretch far and wide, but they slowly dissipate and leave ahead of them green and yellow fields of a more suburban lifestyle. A row of look-alike houses stretching in a line, yet behind each one of them a patch of green grass and then another row. Well watered, even better preserved, these patches. Some have a small garden in the front, just a few orange pots here and there. The home's inhabitants personality very well depicted on the yellow tulips sprouting healthily out front. As we pan onwards, the houses become fewer and the flora becomes more grand. Trees dare rise towards the sun and greet it with the slight waver of its branches along with an even smaller gesture, its leaves, greener than the grass that makes a steady, steep incline uphill. A constant rhythm is heard as his fingers dance between the strings. A straw hat concealing his face from the sun. Laid back against the tree, his tiresome body hides in the shades of the lusty branches of an old oak tree on top of the hill. And down that hill, a field of crops stretches infinitely, to no end. The distance provokes a white mill in the middle of the field as the rhythm continues so tranquil. A leaf is blown off by a gust of wind on its way down and is taken afloat for a journey. It is soon lost beyond the horizon, perhaps it sees the end of the fields. But you don't. Dusk is setting and you know that this moment is only temporary. But the rhythm keeps playing. You don't want to leave. Just a few more minutes. The guitar you were playing rests besides you, yet you hear it clearly. The melody is all around you. In the grass, in the leaves. The orange sunrays find you as the sun begins its descent. They burn you with such inspiration that you pick the guitar up again and start the melody from the beginning...and the sun follows your steps, rising from the same horizon you saw it go down upon. The mesmerizing music takes you back. Back to the city where your journey to this hill began. To your hill where you are at peace. To the hill where you imagine - buried so deep in thought - the world you live in today.
