This is a reupload, closed the previous channel - sorry for those who had this in a playlist. In the previous upload, a very helpful user called Salbei17 tried to find out where all the pictures I put in this video came from. I've attached their comment below:
"Sooo… since I really liked all the pictures used in this playlist and wanted to find out which places they show, I kind of… played Sherlock Holmes and investigated… yeah. Thought I’d share what I found out since it was a lot of work and I think some people might appreciate it.
(Dragon Quest VIII) Remembrances: Gallico Castle, Italy
(Dragon Quest VII) Strolling in the Town: Zell (Mosel), Germany
(Dragon Quest III) Distant Memories: Lake Wanaka, New Zealand
(Dragon Quest V) The Ocean: Torres del Paine National Park, Chile
(Dragon Quest VIII) Mysterious Tower: Barnard Castle, England
(Dragon Quest VI) Inviting Village~Folk Dance~In the Town: Kaysersberg, France
(Dragon Quest II) Endless World: Probably somewhere in Romania, maybe Maramures District (but that’s not really more than a wild guess)
(Dragon Quest IX) The Observatory: (Milky Way, obviously, but the photograph could’ve been taken anywhere and sadly I couldn’t find out where. My observational skills aren’t good enough)
(Dragon Quest VI) Ocean Waves: Madeira Island, Portugal
(Dragon Quest V) Sad Village~Mysterious Disappearances~Disturbed Village: Geroldsee, Bavaria
(Dragon Quest VII) Days of Sadness: (Sadly, I couldn’t find anything. That makes my day very sad)
(Dragon Quest V) Heaven: Madeira Island, Portugal
(Dragon Quest III) Requiem~Small Shrine: Warkworth Castle, England
(Dragon Quest IX) Hills and Meadows: (Couldn’t find anything, once again)
(Dragon Quest VIII) Travelling with Wagon: (Again, nothing)
(Dragon Quest VI) Melancholy: Maybe Vancouver Island, but really, it could be anywhere
(Dragon Quest III) Heavenly Flight: Maybe the Austrian Alps near Salzburg?
(Dragon Quest VIII) Strange World~Marching Through the Fields: Kaiserstuhl, Germany
(Dragon Quest VII) Memories of a Lost World: Loch Garry, Scotland
(Dragon Quest VIII) Peaceful Town~Quiet Village: Strasbourg, France
(Dragon Quest V) Make Me Feel Sad: (found nothing. This made me feel sad)
(Dragon Quest VIII) Over the Sorrow: Might be Himachal Pradesh, India; not sure though
(Dragon Quest VII) Over the Horizon: Stourhead, England
(Dragon Quest VI) Ocean Waves: (oh well. Could be anywhere)
(Dragon Quest II) Requiem: (Well, I didn’t really find anything, but I found someone who most likely made this photo and he currently lives in Richmond, VA; so it’s likely that those trees are somewhere in the USA. Yay)"

For you who is reading this message; God loves you a lot, and despite everything that may have happened in your life he has a plan for you, so please look for him and follow his word(the Bible) without exceptions while there is still time so you can be saved. Life won’t become easier, on the contrary it will be harder. But if you do these things with an honest and earnest heart one day you will look back and you will be glad that you gave yourself a chance to getting to know God. I promise you it will be worth it.

This is the music I put on in my headphones in the university library while doing homework. Right in front of my favorite spot, there's a huge, high window to the outside campus. Listening to this, getting shit done, and being bathed in sunlight and serenity is seriously incredible. I'm glad these games exist and have the music they do.

For the person reading this message I hope you are doing good, I want to share this in a lot of comment sections so it can reach everyone possible including you so please read until the end: God loves you a lot and he wants you to be saved and happy, nothing in this world like money, fun or popularity can fill the emptiness in your heart, only his son Jesus who died for you can fill you who might not nothing know about him. He knows you more than yourself. You who turned your back to him, he is still waiting for you with his arms open to receive you again. You who fought against him and have done things that are unforgivable in your eyes, he will always see you as his son and he already paid the price for all your sins. Even if the world doesn’t forgive you, all that you need is God and everything will be alright, so trust God and no one else. Repent from your sins and never go back to them, and the most important thing is that you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior with your voice and your heart, when you do all these things, pray to God and read the Bible(Christian Bible not a Catholic since the Catholic one might’ve changed the word of God to something that it is not God’s word but men’s, so read a christian Bible) so that you get to know God. Follow it’s word completely, because some people might say that the times and things have changed, but God never changes, the Bible says that the heavens and earth will pass but his word will never pass and that means that the things God didn’t like back then he still doesn’t like today. So don’t let anyone tell you that now you can have sex before marriage or something like that just because everyone does it, because the Bible says that wide is the path to destruction and many walk through it. When you pray, ask God to guide you so that you always walk in his righteousness and so that he gives you strength so you don’t fall to sin, and don’t just say I am a Christian and never read your bible or end up not praying because being a follower of God means building a father and son-daughter relationship with him. Fast and pray and be his son not only in words but also in your actions. Today God has showed grace to you who might be depressed, empty, are being hated or hates, or maybe you don’t receive genuine love this is even for you who enjoys or is comfortable with your current life. Whoever you who is reading this is, know that God is calling you to give you a future and a hope in this life and in the eternal life. Trust him, because he loves you so much that is beyond understanding, and the time is short. After you finish reading this message you might die or Jesus might return, so be ready and follow him, for today he stretched his hand to you because he loves you and cares for you and he doesn’t want you to go to hell, so please go to him, it will be hard because living for God means denying yourself and the things that you might like, but it will be the best decision you will make in your entire existence and I promise you it will be worth more than any of the things that you don’t want to let go of. Make the right choice, because today God has stretched his hand to you who he loves so much that he even died for knowing all the bad things you have done. That is how much love he has and will always have for you. I don’t know you but you might be going through hard times, so keep these words in mind that God gives hope to the hopeless and he heals any wounds including the ones from the heart, and he can do the same for you regardless of anything. Thank you for reading, God bless you always❤️

@@shiohime3350 You just have to be a music teacher, with that answer. I would love to really play the keyboard. I have only known this composer for the music in the video games. @AwfulLawful_ You are making stuff up now, he believed that the nanking report from the allies was exagerated as an attempt to demonize japan (which is wrong and shitty) but everything else is just so pointless and overblown by every dumbfuck that's taken this too far. He said the war was more complicated than people think, he was on a program with a female politician that said shitty comments about the LGBT comunity and he politely noded as did everyone on the show, he said he didnt think lgbt education was necessary (which it hasnt so far, since it has never been a thing until very recently in america) AND THAT'S IT, worst of all before he died he said that LGBT don't deserve the hateful treatment they get, but since its cooler and more fun to shit on a "LiTeRaL nAzI" things like that are conveniently set aside.

I look forward to replaying Dragon QUEST 8 during my retirement. That is probably one of the only times in my life left when I can play old games again. haha I love these games so dearly. Dang... I truly miss my childhood listening to the ost of them. All the time one had in the afternoons and during vacations. Never thought I would say these things, but yes... Being an adult truly sucks at times. In the end though, I am glad I grew up with these games and to be who I am now and yeah, glad I am able to cherish good times and things like this now that I am older. Have a good day everyone.

Rip...

Some things I fall back on is using library computers, public wifi, maps, and having the right stuff in the travel bag. And I kept listening to music the entire time too, which made it interesting.

I can't help but keep coming back to this video. Everything about the music of Dragon Quest just inspires raw emotions that I can't even begin to describe, like I'm walking through a magical world I barely understand, which is pretty accurate to the games it's designed for. I often find this music is extremely helpful when writing, it just puts me in the mood to go on a great adventure, even if I have no clue how its gonna end. It's somehow both soothing and exciting, and it inspires me like no other music in it's genre (no not even final fantasy music). Thank you for sharing this, honestly. And thank you Sugiyama for making it, may you rest in peace.
