What a beautiful journey. I left the metro 9 years ago & miss it. I lived there for 35 years. Thought returning to my home state was the answer at the time. Enjoy every moment, & as my Mother would say, ‘smell the roses as you live life’….which I’m sure you do. Good job !! Your son is adorable!!

Your yard is beautiful. Look into a company called landguard for your vegetables. These are metal pots instead of wood. The wood could get wood rot affecting your vegetables.

Hey thank you! I heard about that, I’ll do that in the future. I forgot to say that the red planters was built by my late grandfather he was a carpenter. The other wooden planters were a gift from my dad. We usually plant together in my backyard, he does most of the work lol But he has a green thumb, he grew up farming. I will get my use out of them first and then transition to the mental planters definitely ❤️ 😊

The red leaf plants are called Coleus. They're very hard to kill and should regrow with some watering even if you only have a little piece alive put it in the soil and water.
