I've recently been gifted a D780 which now got me deeper into the whole photography thing. Along to all the tutorial videos i've watched your videos always motivate me to go out and actually try it out. I really love that you put the settings next to the pictures so i can get a better understandig of what settings might be nice for what kind of shot. keep up the great work, love the videos and the pictures!

Interesting here in Australia it's the opposite, in winter everything becomes green then heading into summer everything quickly dries out and becomes brown and colourless. It's great to have variety in the weather, by the end of summer im sick of the heat, sun and long days and start looking forward to cold overcast conditions.

I love taking pictures of mushrooms. Maybe you can do a video or two focusing on them in the fall. Damn you where lucky with the black woodpecker, in Denmark we only have like a hundred pairs of this bird, so they are rare and skittish. I was lucky getting pictures of this bird after having it as a goal for 3 years. Does anyone know what camera settings are good for capturing sunrays through a forest?

Just a small hint for macro shots with a non macro lens: Using a TC you have the same minimal focus distance but more focal lenght. So in summary, higher magnification. :)

August is when I see the warblers in the mid-Atlantic area of the US, was on my hike yesterday and snapped a photo of a Kentucky the 1st one of the year and to get your lens to focus on spider webs do you use manual focus? for those types of shots I either use my Sigma 150-600 or Canon 100-300 L and auto focus never works for getting the webs so I gotta use auto.

as money changes from country to country, I bet the quality of life there in Sweden is great, I also love taking photos, however with the price of cameras here in Brazil it's impossible to dream, I recently got a Xiaomi that has 200 MPX to take some photos thing is making edits, and that was already a bit expensive, so imagine a camera like that, I would probably have a lot of financial difficulties buying one of these 2 video cameras, anyway, Brazil is horrible, it's only good for those who are rich, I hate it here talking about the video, never stop with your videos, I love them, you do a fantastic job

Hi Nilsson! I follow your channel. You are really awesome and somehow watching each of your videos has made me want to buy some gear and start taking photos too. I own a Sony alpha7 iii and lens Sony 100-400mm 4.5-5.6 GM. I'm thinking of buying a teleconverter. I hesitate in between 1.4x and 2.0x. I know I lose 1 stop of light with the 1.4X teleconverter and 2 stop with the 2X teleconverter. What is your experience?What would you choose? I'm interested in your opinion. I didn't choose the Sony 200-600mm 5.6-6.3 G OSS because it's too bulky for me. And I thinks I will get more with this combination, because I take a photos, all kinds of things, but mostly animals in nature

Hello Olle, I'm thinking of upgrading from my good old 600d. I mainly shoot wildlife and some street photography. What would you recommed for under 2000€? Been looking at the Canon R7 because i would love stay with canon.

I think that the r7 is the cheapest Canon camera with animal eye fokus and it has a good shutterspeed and other features for wildlife. However the crop sensor with 32mp is very demanding on your lenses and they have to be very sharp lenses to produce sharp pictures. Many photography channels on KZfaq say that the r7 together with the rf 100-400 is a great medium budget starter kit for wildlife. I myself am saving money for this combo. But I also hear that it doesn't perform well in bad lighting. Maybe watch some reviews on this camera and lens together 😊

Hey Ollie I like your videos & have a ?. I got the A7IV 200-600mm and exclusively use the EVF for wildlife. Do you use the LCD screen for KZfaq purposes so we can see the screen for better entertainment? Or is that really how you use it 100% of the time?

Thanks! That is exactly how it is. I use the EVF for photography. But for entertainement in these videos I use the LCD. Would a lynx show up in front of me I’d go for the EVF in a second😄😂

Manually! Usually keep it at 5500k then adjusting it in post

Example : the horse photo. Your settings in that situation ? Focus area ? Spot ? Expand spot ? Zone ? Animal eye af activated ? Sry for all the questions. I often get unsharp photos and think it could be my settings. Or maybe just too slow shutterspeed.
