Native Americans use them too but a smaller version. The native Americans call it a rain stick. I don't know what the name is of this one used here.

There is a building in the California desert known as the Integratron. It is acoustically perfect, a wooden parabola. Sound bass are held there utilizing crystal bowls, and it’s very very nice. I was thinking if this man were too perform this practice inside the Integratron, it would be truly transcendent
