Excellent presentation of a good camp! I wish I could camp next to you guys so I could mooch some of those excellent foods you made. I had eel in Japan along time ago. It was round and rubbery. It was on a tour I had. Don't have any idea what I was eating. Yours looked good. Side question: How are you attaching your "Moon Roof" to the Basecamp? Take care.

The eel I cooked was soft like fish. Moonshade has its own attachment to the BC that is sold separately. However, I use sail anchors from Sailrite - www.sailrite.com/Slug-Bail-Without-Rocker-1-2 . Thanks for watching!

Do you have experience with size with this Hexa large tarp vs Snow Peak Hexa Evo Pro? It’s nice that the Evo only needs 6 stakes but I fortunately it doesn’t come in a set like the Hexa Large. So cost wise it’s a lot more expensive. But I am curious which of the two will have more coverage space?

The hexa tarp evo pro is a lot bigger. We have it set up with friends when we have more than 4 people. I would suggest you get that if you are looking for bigger space. The large hexa tarp is good for 4 people with a simple IGT set up. However you will need more space with a larger set up. Thanks for watching!

@@SirCampalotOutdoors thanks so much for your input. Yes looking to cover 4-6 ppl plus two reg 36” wide tables. It sounds like Evo Pro is the more compatible option. Wish Snow Peak make a set for that tarp.

@@SirCampalotOutdoors thank you! It is really odd how Snow Peaks website says capacity for Hexa L is 6 persons and Evo Peo is 4-6 persons. It made me think initially the Evo Pro was smaller haha 😂

How does your SUV tow the 16X? Does it cause the rear of your SUV to drop excessively? I have a Toyota Highlander 5000 Lbs tow capacity and thinking about getting the 16X. Thank you!

My Audi is already low but I haven’t had issues with it. You should be fine if you just distribute the weight. I have an Anderson WDH and it helps tremendously. I think you will have an easy time towing with your Toyota Highlander. Thanks for watching!
