Over the course of 2023, many hard-working volunteers joined the efforts of the Samboja Lestari Orangutan Project, to repair and renovate one of the island sanctuaries. By supporting the BOS Foundation, which operates under an MOU with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, our collective goal was to return this space to a habitable environment for its lucky new homeowners, Anih and Chris John! Volunteer coordinator Kate talks us through the process of their release.
