Many actors have played Dawood Ibrahim, with even longer screen times, but no one could actually match the exact aura. Be it Ajay Devgn in Company, Emraan Hashmi in OUATIM or Farhan Akhtar in Daddy. But Vijay Maurya’s Dawood Ibrahim is near perfection. This is why casting is so important. Vijay Maurya actually looks and feels like Dawood Ibrahim visually. And on top of that he acted brilliantly. Courtesy to Anurag Kashyap for bringing out the character.
