My family's members including myself being named Buddhists by my mother's attendee and she went to the Pagoda monthly ceremonies as an official Buddhist however , since the time I went seeking for the words of God I'd met the Christian website after learning and experiencing by myself by escaping from an accident through my prayers which I've had the chance to learn from the web really saved me , I don't know how much to describe to you all whatever happened to me but my prayers gave me what I was waiting for . Hey. Very nice video and very informative. Since you asked about Hinduism. It is not 33 million but 33 koti. Koti is like a word in Hindi which has different meanings, one of them being million and another mean type. Actually in Hinduism which is Santana Dharam there are 33 types. As you had also mentioned, Hinduism is polytheism where we have a trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and shiva. They are responsible for creation, well being and destruction and they are parallel to each other. All other Gods are either extended mainly or avatar of the Vishnu and Shiva. I hope this could add a bit to your concept. Thanks for the nice videos.

Hi Mark, I'm a monotheism! God is a creator of all existence. We believe in a spiritual power in the divine world. The spirit is in our soul and mind. If the spirit leaves the soul the person is dead. Very simple thing. Religious is the way how certain people express their belief, the way of life. Terminology used in religious books (bible) serving for humanity that's makes us different from other species.

Guten Tag, Mark!!! Wie geht's??? Well, I just watched this lesson four times in a raw!!! Being of two minds about answering this homework!!! Just off the top of my head, I would have said : "I'm an atheist"!!! Though, when I come to think about it, maybe this question is not that easy to be answered!!! My parents and most of my extended family members were/are non-practicing (nominal) Protestants!!! If someone wishes me God's blessing, I feel incredibly glad and honored about it!!! So, I reciprocate these wishes from the bottom of my heart!!! In my opinion, everything religious is mainly about HOPE, in the end!!! Let me give you an example, if I know a family member or friend of mine is going through some difficult times, has fallen ill or getting in trouble of some kind (or is on his/her way to "who knows where"😉) I'm "HOPING" that this person might be safe with all my heart!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 Eventually, to answer your question, it would be fair to say: I'm a "hoping" agnostic!!! Wow, this was a lot of new vocabulary!!! 👍👍👍 Many of these words are used equally in German, but now I understand the complex correlations, finally!!! Hi Mark I live in India and I belong to the Catholic Church. But here I want to tell something about Hinduism. Hinduism is more than a religion. It is a culture, a way of life, and a code of behavior. This is reflected in a term Indians use to describe the Hindu religion: Sanatana Dharma, which means eternal faith, or the eternal way things are (truth). There is only one all pervasive Supreme being in Hinduism. Hindus worship this supreme being in different forms. Hence the misconception that there are millions of Gods in Hinduism. When one realizes ones oneness with the supreme being then he or she is a liberated soul.They see God in everything and everybody. Mark is also a god in human form! Hindus greet each other by saying " Namaste". What is the meaning of the word Namaste? It is a Sanskrit word. It means (nah + mas + te = namaste) “The Love and Light within me Honor the Love and Light in you.” Hindu brothers can correct me If I am wrong. Hinduism is a beautiful religion and I love it.

In Hinduism, there are many gods but Tridev and Maa(mother) Durga are the most important to us. Tridev includes Brahma,Vishnu and Mahadev. Brahma is the creator of whole universe. Vishnu is the director of the whole universe. Mahadev is the destroyer of the universe but when He destroys something then something creates by Him from this 'destroy'. Maa(mother) Durga is the Nature. There are many different names of Brahma,Vishnu,Mahadev and Maa(mother) Durga.

I consider myself a theist in the concept of monotheism. Meaning I believe in the existence of God-the only one God. (not many gods) You're right when you said, we will fall into a heated argument when we try to justify what we believed. I have seen people debating with so much zealousness about their faith as if it's all about the battle of the wise. It's like "The smart guy win". It's about self EGO and that sad. Of course we have to depend what we believed in, it's healthy. But for me it all depends on how we EXECUTE them. Some are too judgemental. Others are too critical. I'm not too spiritual nor religious. That is what I've said in last video. I can only speak of what I believed in and this is my take about this lesson: The Bible says, If I can speak the language of men even that of the angels, fathom all mysteries, or have faith to move mountains but I don't have love, I'm nothing but a clanging cymbals. The love here is not about feelings or emotional.. It's a decision to love the unlovable. Don't ask me HOW, because that is hard. But that's His command: To love your neighbors as yourself. God loves us all SINNERS regardless of our colors but not our SIN. So lets pursue peace with each other. Besides aren't we all breathe the same air? We may have all good argument and the proof to justify them. We may have all scholastic knowledge about mysteries here and beyond but know this : God as our good Shepherd, know His sheeps and His sheep listen to His voice. 🌻

I was an agnostic when I was in school. I wanted to believe in God though. After an incident that happened to me for years during my college studies, I started to believe in God. That's what I want. Bhagwan gave me what I really want. Today I am a theist.

We say these or those shaykhs are absolutely good doctrine. We never say use bad doctrine.

I had a doubt that in hinduism there are millions of gods but thanks for providing ready nos.😀👍🏻 Actually, I have noticed in this religion, everything is worshiped and there are specific god for most of the natural things that exist in the universe. For eg. moon god, sun god, snake god, elephant god, lion god, etc. Man and woman forms are also workshopped as god. In fact, there a concept of having a family deity. So if your family god is a woman deity then you have to look for a girl who has family deity as a male god. Otherwise, marriage can’t happen. And like this there are many other beliefs and till today some people practice them. Every god have associated stories which you can assume to be 33 millions plus. I am a theist. But I don’t hold orthodox beliefs. So I am a heretic. Also, this religion is i feel it is vast. There is so much depth in it. And it cannot be generalised. It is not possible to know everything about it. So I don’t know everything about it. But I do know certain popular stories, scriptures, and some gods too. Now, if I have to put some light on scriptures so we have four main veds- Rigveda, Samved, Yajurveda, and Atharvaveda. And there are subdivisions of each of these. Bhagavadgita, Ramayana, etc are separate Hindu scriptures that focus on one god. Maybe you would like to explore the four main texts. Hinduism has been divided on the basis of occupation, beliefs, etc. Occupational division has led to grades/class of people in society whereas beliefs can be anything.....I mean there is no end to it. So, there some people who believe in Lord Shiv and there are referred to as Shaivites whereas those who believe in Vishnu are called Vaishnavites. With this it clicked me that there are three main gods in Hinduism-Shiv (Destroyer), Brahma (Creator) and Vishnu ( Responsible for sustenance/maintenance of universe). Nature(Parvati -wife of Shiv), wealth (Laxmi-wife of Vishnu) and knowledge (Saraswati-wife of Brahma) are considered to be woman god. Now each of them have their own styles of clothing, functions and likings. In India and in Hindu text, you will notice all rivers have women names and all are considered woman gods whic hv never existed before on earth and were called by ancestors after die hard prayers. One of which is River Ganga. It is not possible for me to write so much here. But yes, there are many things to know and there is no end to it 🤷🏻‍♀️🙆🏻
