Daniel Ghita is one of the most underrated kickboxer ever. He is an absolute legend and deserve a tons of respect !

Yes and no. He was stunning, but he would always loose the most important fights...could not get over the finish line...thats why he ins't in the same category like Peter Aerts, Ernesto Hoost and all the other greats. He had such an easy semi final where he Beat Jamal in seconds, where as Semmy had to go the distance. But it was a bad call from the ref. The round was almost over an it was the final and he waved it of...very disappointing for fighting fans...

He’s not underrated at all, he’s rated fairly . He never got to the top Whereas all the other greats won major tournaments he never .

You cant put Saki and Schielt în same category. There are 40 kg and 30 cm diference. Schilt should fight with grizlies, gorilas and mutants. Not with humans.

Even though I’m Dutch I think Daniel Ghita is the GOAT. His career timing didn’t help him break kickboxing records just entering after the K1 days and retiring early. But his technique and sheer power is unprecedented. Makes the Dutch K1 kickboxers look like bar fighters.

Saki vs Schilt: Judges & commentators suck. How about considering the fact that in order to fight someone larger than you (nevermind a Skyscraper) the only resource available is to move quicker keeping distance while striking faster. A great example is when Kaoklai Kaennorsing defeated the Red Scorpion Alexey Ignashov. That said, in the first round Saki was about perfect. At times even allowing himself to test Schultz's power directly. Schilt never really connected but Saki did a few times. The second round I give it to Semmy although it could have been easily a draw. The referees sucks as well. Not at the same standard of K-1. Bring back Kakuda in urgently!
