If I would own such a setup I would most definitely add a vibration feeder for primers. No way I would watch my machine run like that and then maually feed primers every couple of minute, like a peasant ;)

I'm a peasant and bought 12 pick up tubes instead 😂. Load up the tubes while watching TV or something and then I can do 1200 at a time.

I put a used 45 acp case on my primer follower. Fits perfectly, adds a little more weight, and I haven’t had any primers hang up in the primer feeder since then.

I've got 2 Dillon's. A 27 yr old 550 that I bought new. And a 650 that's about 5 yrs old. I do all rifle on my 550 and pistol on 650. I would love to sell the 650 and get a 1050 and bullet feeder and automate it. U have a nice set up as do I. Just want a little more to it

If you want to automate, 1050/1100 is definitely the way to go. I've had a lot of friends automate a 650 and eventually upgrade.

Thanks am looking to upgrade to exactly that setup, curious about what type of aftermarket hold down dies, and I see you have a little camera for powder check ?

Everglades hold down die. For the camera just search backup camera on amazon, there is hundreds of options.

@@Seabass355_USPSA thanks, I have a mark 7 on my 650 with ammo vision as my powder check and it works great. I only reload 9mm have you or would you do any press upgrades, shellplate bearing, level 10 inovations etc. ? Thanks again from Canada

@@snowgorilla9789 sorry I have zero experience with the 650 so I can't make any recommendations on how to upgrade it. Here are the upgrades that I made to my 1050: Reloading Innovations premium bearing kit & spill control tabs. Reloading InnovationsStarlight Everglades hold down die Inline Fabrication Case feed stop Inline Fab primer tube rack Inline Fab Bin Barrier Fast & Friendly Brass Expander die Entirely Crimson powder quick disconnect

Can you tell us what modification and equipment used for the automation and motorization with touch pad controller?? Pretty nice looking setup you have there. How many complete cartridges per hour on average? Do you load for other calibers on that or strictly 9mm? Thanks for the video!!

It's a Mark 7 autodrive. It's capable of making 2500 rounds per hour, but I'm realistically doing about 1000 at my settings. I keep this press dedicated to 9mm and I use a dillon 550C for all my other cartridges. www.markvii-loading.com/

My press will arrive on Friday, I purchased some 9mm .355 luger 115gr FMJ round nose bullets and ramshot true-blue powder, problem im having is that I can't find any information for the bullet I purchased its not a name brand, so do I just follow the powder and dimension for another bullet of the same specs?

Yes. If you're loading at max, just bump it down a few tenths and work up to it.
