thanks for the phono thru comparison. looking at using this with an analog rotary mixer and don’t want the interface to destroy the beautiful direct phono outputs!

I just bought it! I have a couple of questions if you can help me please: 1. In the manual it says that flux should be charged by a power supply with 5-20v. Will it delivery power enough for a MacBook? Or should I charge the flux with the MacBook charger and plugging the usb-c PD to the Mac will charge the Mac? 2. I play with turntable, so I switched the source decks to phono and then plug the cables on the mixer line input. I realised that the gain to play analog vinyl on thru mode dropped about 3db. But if I plug the flux to the mixer phono’s input, the gains is over saturated. Is this the way it should be or there is any solution to avoid losing gain on thru mode? Thank you 🙏

1 - second one, Mac power on it. 2 - phono in, line out, there is no other way. You will have to change a little bit your trim every time you switch between D.V.S. / normal vinyle record to have the 3dB difference.

@DJSTUFF Thanks, buddy! I will try the power supply today. Indeed, I did compare the phono straight to the mixer and passing thru Flux and the gain is lower with Flux, but the device is just amazing in other aspects! Thank you for your patience!

Dj Stuff excell3nt breakdown !! Just a quick question ive got the reloop for my controller . But i still got scratch live for my technics . Thing is i was told by the shop if ive not used my scratch live drivers even if the scratch live drivers have not been used before & not supported annymore by serato the old rane box may likely work if my laptop has adequate power & my laptop is powerful . See i want to load my old music onto the techs so thinking to load all my tracks onto blank vynl then i can used both techs & controller through my reloop & then transfer the tracks to the controller ? I guess the alternative is to just load the tracks using the reloop to my controller but it may mean i cant use the blank vynls on my techs to mix the tracks . See its important for me to get my old vintage tracks spinning on my techs & external effects via the reloop interface . Is it doable ?

You should consider taking your old tracks and put them into the Serato DJ that works with the Reloop Flux.

Just to clarify, when connected to the iPad on Algoriddim djay pro. Does the dvs mode work with turntables and time coded vinyl? Or is it just the mixer that will control the standard digital part of djay pro? Been thinking of buying one for a while so I can merge my turntables with the app without having to buy a new dvs compatible mixer. Thanks

Yes it will work without any other mixer, juste the Reloop Flux ( and a subscription for DJay for D.V.S. of course, I think D.V.S. needs that on DJay ).

@@DJSTUFF Okay thanks. I’ve just ordered one, Already have the pro subscription for dvs, just wasn’t sure if the flux would work on ipad.

@@DJSTUFF yes i saw it, do you also know how the reloop flux works with audacity ? I can only record time code sound so only 1&2 of the flux but channel 3 I can't choose anywhere. channel 3 has input from my REC out of my analog mixer (relooprmx60)

Yep mate, Audacity only knows 1/2. You have to choose a multi-track software like Ableton. But Serato knows how to too. Flux's 5/6 is here on Serato DJ Pro 👍

I don't have ableton but I do have FL studio, is that also possible? and how does that work? is there a video of it maybe? i can't record in serato dj pro because i play streaming music from soundcloud there is my music library. sorry for asking so much, I'm getting desperate.. I just want to use my soundcloud with serato dj pro and play it with my DVS and record that dj set to listen back later, it should be possible! I'd rather not buy a new interface or have to download every song from soundcloud

Phono pre-amp are waaaay better on this one. Check my Audacity project in the description. I like the phono / D.V.S. switch buttons on it too.

Will this flux work perfectly with rekordbox dvs software? If so no need for the pioneer interface 2

Hi DJ Stuff, you said the flux class is compliant, can I connect it to the pioneer djm s9 and then play with the iPad via Djay Pro? Normally, DJM S9 is not compatible with iPad and Djay Pro. I want to use my iPad in future…can it work with an normal controller or only mixer? Digital mixer? Or only analog? I need the class compliant for iPad DJAY PRO😅 @algoriddimofficial Nice video by the way! And thanks! 🔥 phuongtastic

If you buy a Flux you can use it with what you want, every thing with a paire of RCA. With Algoriddim DJay you can choose channel 1 to RCA 1, channel 2 to RCA 2 and plug those every where. There is a hub on the back so you can plug a additional controller too. I’ve done the same on RMX-95. RMX-95 to iPad, Novation Dicer on RMX-95 and here I am free to mix with all of this.
