One of the most beautiful renditions of Wichita Lineman I've ever heard. Reminded me of my love for Glen Campbell in my early days.

Monster is a great record!Back then people or should I say 'critics' were not ready dor this kind of sound from them.But every track is great,had this album been realesed in 2017 it would be a critical darling.

My first concert was R.E.M., and my first tour from them was the Monster tour. Both changed my life.

loved this, thanks....it was worth it just to see Let Me In being rehearsed....I have always liked REM, I enjoyed the 90s as much as or more than the 80s REM....weird, I went to see a band called the Suburbs in a small club in a suburban mall south of San Francisco, this was the early 80s...then, like 15 years later, my pal told me that we had seem REM, I said wtf?....apparently they opened the show that night, pre Murmur...
