I prefer the visuals of Ultimate Ghosts N Goblins for the PSP. Don't get me wrong Ghosts & Goblins Resurrection looks beautiful but I prefer the 2.5D to the 2D art style. Either way this series if for people who want a hard and challenging game. When I say this game is hard this game is VERY HARD. Pretty brutal and unforgiving at times too though it's rewarding if you finish it. I'd give it 7 or even an 8/10. It'd give it a 10/10 if you want a hard game. I can't recommend this game to a normal person or a casual gamer, I would recommend this game to a hardcore gamer that wants a hard and challenging game. Even then you will have to know you may end up throwing your PSP or controller (if you're playing on a TV and/or an emulator) and shouting at the screen.

Capcom should release a collection of all the Ghost and Goblins games, including the spinoff. I'm even talking about the ones that wasn't a side scrolling games on PS2.

Just got a switch and Resurrection was first on my radar. Ultimate is my favorite of the franchise, so I'm interested to see if Resurrection will be a good contender.

I think they're both excellent games, considering the time in which they came out. I loved (and hated 😆) both.

Ultimate ghost n goblins is better. I was disappointed with the controls of the new gng resurrection. I also prefer 2.5D graphics
