Now I feel kinda bad for blaming the reworked Irelia, when you see how much work and passion they put in, just so they could improve what they've already created, wow.

These kind of jobs are my dream- creating and designing for a game... but I don't know if it's too late.

Honestly feels like one of the most successful reworks went from a one dimensional playstyle to like an insanely high skill potential champ...

I can only imagine the amount of passive aggressive arguments that go on the daily in that place lol

They spent 90% of the time determining her thiccness and 10% on the actual gameplay

This vids is making me appreciate more on how they remake a champion or release a new one and i think the community should punish them less for making a mistake after rework or a new champ release because it takes alot of effort to make one

I loved how they stayed true to who she is and just basically amplified her abilities to it’s potential.

I clearly remember when I started playing this game in preaseason 2. I was mostly exploring all the aspects and especially all the champions. I read through most of the lore and background stories but mostly at the look of the champs and there she was: Irelia I was like holy 4800 ip. That's a lot. And there i had my first goal getting irelia to play her. Finally getting her i had a lot of fun and even got my first skin for her. But in some way she never met the first impression of that blade dancing fighter. I just wanna say, that looking back to that old times I really feel, that she has finally become what I felt was irelia. Gonna have to leave the bot lane to check her out :)

Thank you guys for making and sharing these videos, I feel like they're super inspiring and motivating as a player and as an artist. :)

I love the new Irelia rework, honestly think it's one of the best reworks riot has done.

She was my main. I loved to play her, but she always felt like she was lacking something. Now, she is the most fun champ I've ever played. Everyday when I wake up I don't think about playing League of Legends, but playing IRELIA. I love her Gameplay, I love her sound, I love her attitude, I love her voice, I love her appearance and I love her lore. Thank you Riot Games, I couldn't thank you enough. Right now I have more fun then I ever had playing League of Legends!

i really apreciatte that they put these behind the scene, you can see how they're trying their best and how much they put into this.

It's cool to see they actually kind of used some of the scrapped ideas. One of her ults looks exactly like Yone's ult, and that big blast thing is really similar to Qiyana's ult (since it seems to be stunning opponents upon knocking them into terrain).

Just noticed with the power of hindsight that u can see Yone’s ult was an idea on the irelia update at 2:30

To be honest becaue of this irelia rework i finally got the grasp of using an ad melee champ which i dont usually do, mastering irelia got me more improving with ad champs, irelia is a very complex and fun champ to play i love the rework 😍 I AM INLOVE WITH THIS IONIAN BLADE DANCER!

I love seeing all the work put behind these projects. As an aspiring concept artist, these are my go-to vids whenever I feel down and need a thing to stimulate my creative juices. Seeing so much effort playing out right in front of me, I can't help but feel giddy. Honestly, I had goosebumps while watching this. Thank you Riot for allowing us to see glimpses of the magic that happens behind the scenes.

I’ve played league for about 6 years now and I can honestly and truthfully say that I love this new Irelia. I’ve played 5 games with her and playing her makes me remember why i love playing league again, thanks Riot you guys did an amazing rework that i didn’t know I needed. Btw I barley ever played her and playing her know literally brings a huge smile to me face. I don’t know if you read the comments but if you do thank you, you guys rock!

i think riot should do a visual rework on orianna's abilities, her skills visually look so boring to be honest. they should give her abilities like a robotic feel you hear me? like electric particles and stuff ya know. just saying

Her rework was actually impressive to be honest. She's still got the "dive in" playstyle and her q resets which give old Irelia vibes. She looks even better now - The Blades for instance. And her sound effects, animations, etc. This rework just made me love playing her more ^_^ Well played, well played.

Hey I've been playing your game since Season 2 and I wanted to give you props for multiple things. First of all thanks for opening my eyes as to how much work goes into a rework not just in kite but also design, artwork and lore; I truly found a new appreciation for what you do. From my perspective it's all to easy to get wrapped up in climbing and banning what is overpowered. I want to especially highlight the lore that you guys wrote it was really good and a great read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think whenever you do special events, e.g. Bilgewater, you really give the players intense incentive to interact with the lore and highlight your creativity. Please keep up the good work and have a nice day.

As someone looking to transfer into a game design or animation major, I really enjoyed this type of video. All the little insights on what the different compartments and stages of the pipeline look like in an actual game company were super interesting. Please more of these

Irelia was the second champion release that was really important for me back in season 1 and 2, it's really nice to see they actually listened to what the community wanted and a vast majority of her rework i'd say is now perfect. They even went back to change and touch up the one skin we all care about. I really believe they did a lot better on Irelia with keeping her within the same theme as her old kit than how they did with Swain overall.

I enjoy these videos of behind the scenes so much. Keep up the good work!

Heres a concept for a legendary skin for Leblanc Black Rose Leblanc: -Her Q instead of just a circle on top of their head it like a root animation with a black rose on top -if you prok the Q with the other spells it lets out the papers of the rose -the E should be the thorns of the rose It will be awesome to see a new Leblanc skin :)
