Im an Indonesian, and i know Kurt was learn indonesian language just in couple weeks and the result was awesome. But i know that chinese language is more difficult than indonesian language. Then now Kurt is very awesome with this skill🔥🔥🔥

Maybe he pays for it. Most bigger cover artists have to pay rights to post the video with the music/lyrics and another fee for distributing/selling the covers.

Kurt, great video as always, I love watching this series! But there's something I noticed as a native Manderin speaker, which is that when song writers write music for lyrics in Manderin, the tones play a subtle role in the music. for example, if the lyrics are 已經（三聲、一聲）it would make sense if the notes are 'low, high' since when we speak, 三聲is lower and 一聲 is higher. This is not a rule but something we pay attention to to make the song flow and less weird. Nevertheless I loved the video and pls make more!

apparently in songwriting in addition to chords, you need to consider the 「平仄」. not that I know anything about it...

honestly like: wow, i am amazed at your chinese... I am an ethnic Chinese myself, and honestly, you seem 5x more fluent and confident in speaking Chinese that me, despite the fact that this language is notoriously hard for foreigners to get good at. So 加油！！

If anyone knows Jay Chou and heard his songs for quite a time then you must admit that the way Kurt sang at the first part of the video sounds really how Jay will sing in most of his songs. That makes me think Kurt knows about Jay quite well but unfortunately this time he guess it wrong cuz Jay’s vibe in this song was totally different 😂. And Jason’s version is quite like most of Chinese songs, really catchy, different from original but in good way.
