Tip, you can brush a bit of pure acetone to the edges. That makes it a lot easier to open because acetone soften those material that seals it. This guy. Boom 0 egr will never open again haha. If it wasn’t for this guy and his knowledge this Kia fe3 wouldn’t have a turbo on it, we are tuning the ecm and going for a 300 hp daily driver.

What about ecu cloning for hyundai accent, can it be done via obd or another method without opening the ECU, or just like remapping, the ecu needs to be opened to be cloned. I wish I could get in touch with you guys….I drive a Kia Rio 2013….months ago my speed was locked at 20 to 30Kms…DMG(local kia dealer in Darwin) said my throttle position sensor (TPS) was faulty and I paid them to replace it…after just 5 days ago I faced the same issue…now they’re saying the problem is in the ECU(supplying little power to the TPS)….the quote they gave me to replace the ECU is way out of my budget & for repairing I found no auto electricians in Darwin work with ECU…DMG told me to contact Injectronics in Melbourne….Injectronics asking me to send the ECU with Immobilizer & key reader but didn’t give me any quote and idea whether they’re able to fix it or not….hope I will get a reply from u guyz….

Why would you set all of the EGR values to zero? The only purpose that I could see for you doing that would be only in an engine that has a turbo and it would be to make the air to fuel mixture more pure so to speak without reintroducing exhaust gases into the oxygen coming in from the forced induction of the turbo. But you would only get gains from that by tuning on a dyno and turning up boost while also adjusting fuel trims.
