Let’s be real though USYK won a close fight and was in a much worse state at the end. Big heart USYK has but he taking a hell of a lot of damage in these heavyweight fights to win way more than the average top heavyweight due to size so the inevitable is coming.

And let's be honest, even if fury does win the rematch, (which I don't think he will), it's already a massive achievement for usyk and a big disappointment for fury (because he was the favourite), that usyk schooled fury the first time. Whether usyk wins or loses the rematch against tyson, usyk should be proud of what he has achieved. And tyson would have to beat usyk in a trilogy to claim he is better than usyk because it would be 1-1, if fury was to win the rematch.

@@honeybadger9425Also just because the scorecards had it a close fight doesn't mean it was, usyk should have won by 2-3 rounds on every scorecard. So 115-112 for usyk was unbiased and the right choice, 114-113 for usyk was biased but the right choice, and 114-113 for fury was biased and the wrong choice because no way in God's name did fury win. At max fury deserved was a draw.

😂 lol no he didn’t. This was a draw at best. Fury pocketed to many of the early rounds and won a few of the later. It could have been stopped in the 9th but it wasn’t. Boxing has some issues like when Usyk got actually stopped by a body shot from Deboise I think last year.

It was a standing KO, ref saved Tyson then started counting while Tyson was slowly getting back to his senses. He got 8 points in that round due to being KO'd while standing.

Yes, that corrupt referee who saved fury from a round 9 knockout, and that corrupt judge who scored 114-113 for fury, should both be sacked immediately. Usyk was either meant to win by round 9 tko or unanimous decision, both of which leave no doubt (as you just said) that usyk is the clear winner. Instead they gave usyk a split decision which was a robbery.

Fury: "I believe I won the fight... he won because judges because his country is at war... happy new year!!" Concussions are a helluva drug. Love Fury, but Usyk edged it out. Especially with the 10- 8 round and winning most of the second half of the fight. Fury won most of the furst half of the fight handily. If he comes in more focused, disciplined, and motivated for the second fight he might be able to win, but that is a big if knowing Fury, so I would still bet on the same outcome.

What a fight. Full credit to both men. As a Fury fan I was surprised by his timidity in this fight. It seemed like he was pointing it, but mis-judging how it looked. He looked to be mostly on the the back foot, never in trouble …. But never really threatening Usyx or imposing his size and reach advantage. Then after the fight,we know why. His corner are yes men. He looked far too casual for a man that needed to stop his opponent I thought. His comments afterward make sense. There was no urgency from Tyson. The toughness of the man surviving that assault in round 9. But full credit to Usyk for boxing the much larger lineal heavyweight champ to a defeat. He’s up there with Lennox now.

It really annoys me how most people like to jump on the band wagon of the winner. Usyk won for sure, hè’s awesome but Fury was doing good also. Had a good moment where he hurt Usyk. Well deserved win for the champ, one of the all time greats for sure! After Wilder, Joshua, Ruiz and Ngannou lost their fights they also lost half of their “fans”. Ngannou even one fight after he was the next big thing. Nobody probably understands what it takes to dare to be great and elite.

I also scored it 6-6 with a few swing rounds, think the judges got it just right. Usyk won with the knockdown. Great performance staying resilient when Tyson started landing the right uppercut and controlling the distance after round 3. There was a moment when Usyk looked rocked but he got through it. People don't like Fury now so the over the top hate after a loss is expected. His resume is paper thin though, he needs to win the rematch for his legacy. He really hasn't beaten anyone but Klitschko and an unskilled, much lighter man in Wilder who also has a weak resume. Usyk is on an amazing run and is no doubt the king of the division right now. Great fight. 🥊

I assume the new year comment was because in july its their new year there but still a little early to be saying that. Its 2 months away for them. That would be like someone saying november 1st here to have a happy new year. I hope team fury got him checked after this fight. Thats sort of a odd thing to say.
