Do you remember your artifact weapons from World of Warcraft Legion? Of course you do, because everyone from your class were carrying around the exact same thing. Sure there was some customization you could unlock, but it was still the exact same weapon. Then the fact they invented new weapons no one has ever even heard of with some basic model/mesh designs but they were trying to pass it off as a weapon everyone has heard of.
In this machinima, we get to look at what it was like to get your artifact weapon in Legion, and then we get to see how it REALLY looks.

It grew on me but I thought the warrior artifact Stromkar was so random. But I loved it's lore and the fact that it was the center of a weird myster and world event in the game. And trolls In old instances would flee from it.

What about Thal'kiel's artifact? The one who was Archimonde's mentor (and "betrayed" by him). Might be less known, but still interesting.

The most interesting thing about it was the Floating Head that would accompany you and whisper in your ear. No other offhand existed that was quite like it. Of course, I'm a sucker for the Scepter of Sargeras, but Thal'Kiel was pretty cool too.

Ironically it was the prot artifact that they made up, not holy (Holy gets Tyr's hammer, The Silver Hand) and even that was a cool looking titan shield that came with a matching 1H sword when you equip it that exists solely to fill the other slot with and has no actual lore (but it also looks cool but looks even cooler with some of the unlockable appearances, RIP the Mage Tower flail version though).

I am completely fond of Truthguard: the Protection Paladin Shield that was forged by Tyr and granted to a Vrykul that repented from killing Dwarves.

Of all the artifact weapons, the dreadblades with the hidden appearance were perhaps the trolliest.

My favorite artifact weapon (and my main spec) was Lights Wrath. It was nearly uncontrollable and would literally explode if you FLINCHED in your faith and just create a mini-nuke and kill everyone around you xD
